Find a doctor who listens doesn't just prescribe. One of my patients told me this once. Actually many people told this to me many times. You're the first doctor who ever listened. That blows my mind. After all the patients I've seen, I was the only person who asked questions, listened with intensity, heard what they were saying. The reality is, in order to get the right diagnosis, you need to work with someone who listens. What I learned in school 25 years ago was 80% of all diagnoses were made on the history and physical alone. What does that mean? 80% of everything can be figured out just by listening to the patient? Yes. Testing, yes. Other things is important, but you need to work with someone who listens and cares. Someone uses their whole ability, their mind, body and spirit, to listen to your story and use their expertise. Then to get your body on the self healing and self repair journey. You're worth all this and you need to get with a team that's going to help you get on your healing journey.
