Healing with Energy: Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy

Aaron Hartman, MD describes pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy in a video demonstration. He shows a pad placed behind a patient (Anna) producing pulses of approximately 500–1000 gauss from a device called the PMT120, which he says induce muscle contractions and "micer" (magnetically induced cellular exercise). Hartman states PEMF is used for brain trauma, bone-healing in nonunion fractures (used in the U.S.), by NASA/astronauts to maintain muscle/bone mass, on elite racehorses for healing, and in functional-medicine settings for chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and dysautonomia/POTS to re-regulate nervous system electrical impulses.
