Most parents now believe a pill is going to fix it. So the pediatrician says, oh, sounds like it's adhd. Anybody can sound like they have adhd. So they give them the meds and maybe there's a temporary outcome they like. Maybe there's a worsening of symptoms, but a hundred percent of time there's going to be a side effect. Most parents have no idea of that, right? They trust this provider. Behavioral support, parenting support, none of these things are often recommended.
