You mentioned in the book and talk about in the book leadership that drives profitability. And given the fact that you wrote the book Profit First, I'm really curious, what do you mean about leadership that drives profitability?
Yeah, profitability can be interchanged with sustainability. Most organizations— I focus on small business predominantly. Most businesses are in a check-to-check survival. And therefore, leadership is really sourced out of desperation, and that is not sustainable. It's this constant, are we gonna make it? And what are the, you know, what are the problems, uh, we're having and, and how are we gonna fix this? And we better sell more. It's constant panic to panic, check to check. So leadership that brings about profitability is leadership that brings about sustainability. And now we can focus on larger goals.
