A slot in $10 bills once held a dye pack that banks used to mark robbers. When the thief crossed a boundary, the pack would explode and stain them, making capture easier. The bill is now just a curiosity with no extra value.

Looks like a stack of $10 bills, right? But what is that little space in the middle used for? Well, that's what I'm gonna tell you today. So back in the day when the bank robbers were coming to take all the money from the bank, they would put in a dye pack, which goes right in that space. And then once they got out of a certain zone, that would explode and dye would get all over them and it would be helping to get them caught. So although this piece is pretty cool, it's not worth a ton of money, but definitely a cool conversation piece. What do you think? Please subscribe so you don't miss any future videos.
