In this introductory video Alastair Wallace presents himself as an award‑winning CEO, leadership trainer and consultant with 25 years of experience delivering development programmes across 20 countries to 23,500 managers at every level. He explains his passion for the moment a time‑pressed manager “gets it” and his belief that complex leadership challenges can be solved with simple, brain‑friendly tools that blend neuroscience, psychology and practical flip‑chart techniques. Alastair describes his client‑centric approach: asking probing questions, uncovering hidden blockers, co‑creating frameworks (e.g., for AXA’s 3,000 managers) and delivering highly engaging, ROI‑focused programmes for organisations ranging from Louis Vuitton in Paris to a Yorkshire slaughterhouse. He highlights his distinctive style – high‑energy, straight‑talking, empathetic, with humor and no corporate waffle – and shares a personal resilience story about surviving a serious brain injury, which now informs his workshops and an upcoming TED Talk in Worthing. The video concludes with a call to organisations seeking leadership training, events or communication challenges that stick and deliver measurable impact.

Hi there, I'm Alastair Wallace, leadership trainer, consultant, and award-winning CEO. I've been lucky enough to design and deliver leadership development across 20 different countries for 23,500 managers at all levels, from supervisors and team leaders all the way up to CEOs. From oil rigs to boardrooms, monkey trainers to finance execs. Yes, really. So, what do I love the most? The moment when a frustrated, time-poor manager just suddenly gets it. When they realize they don't have to fix every problem, hold every hand, or burn out doing other people's thinking. Helping them to lead their team with clarity, confidence, and calm. That's magic, and that's what I do. My sweet spot is taking those complex and sticky leadership challenges and helping people solve them with simple, brain-friendly, practical tools. So, neuroscience and psychology meets flipchart. I've spent 25 years creating learning that works, whether it's face-to-face, online, digital, or hybrid, from time management to talent pipelines, delegation, to difficult conversations. I like to build learning and deliver learning that earns its keep. As an ex-L&D manager myself, I was responsible for two large sites, one in Scotland, one in England. I'm all about return on investment and results. When I start with a new client, it's a great time to be curious. I like to ask lots of questions, listen hard, and try and spot those hidden blockers that no one's naming. I like to work closely with stakeholders to shape a training experience that lands now but is going to stick for the long term. So whether it's co-creating a leadership framework with AXA for 3,000 managers or building interactive training programs for small groups at Louis Vuitton in Paris, I don't do off-the-shelf, but I do, do off-the-chart engagement. So what do clients say about me, then they often say things like I'm real, I'm engaging, and not really like any other trainers they've had. No corporate waffle, no pointless icebreakers. Practical, energizing tools and discussions that people are going to use the next day they're back at work. And because I've been a team leader, a department head, an operations manager, a project manager, and I'm a CEO myself, I know how the real world works in leadership, so I can bringing some empathy and challenge in equal measure. My style: high energy, straight talking, grounded in trust. Whether I'm working with the C-suite boardroom in Zurich or shift leaders in a Yorkshire slaughterhouse— yep, I've done that one too— I make learning feel safe, energizing, and purposeful. I'm not afraid to challenge, but I do it with good humor, with empathy, and one goal in mind. Better leadership that's going to save you time, save you money, and encourage your people. One thing most people don't know about me, a few years ago, I had a serious brain injury. 6 operations, coma, skull fracture, the lot. It changed everything. I had to relearn how to lead myself. And now I bring that resilience, that clarity, and that focus into a TED Talk in Worthing this year, which I'm really excited about, and into every workshop that I deliver. So, whether you're looking for leadership training that sticks, events that energise, or someone that will challenge the way your teams communicate in a good way, I'd love to help. It's always a privilege to work with clients who care about growth, impact, and great learning. Thanks for watching. I hope we get to work together soon.
