Alexander Lorenzo keeps only 20% of his portfolio in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP because he chases 25-50x returns in smaller projects instead. He stresses fundamental analysis to avoid scams in a market flooded with hype, and says success requires discipline and deep research into a coin's basics.

So the trenches are great, but the position trades the money. That's where you get a 50x. The longer and more thoroughly you research a coin, the better chances you're not investing in a scam. So you can literally mitigate the risk and destroy that risk with sound fundamental analysis. Because there's a lot of hoopla. Like we got the AI tools and there's nothing wrong with that. We're making money, it's great. But like we got to get to the foundation basics. And like if you can't get the basics, you're not going to automate nothing. You're not going to know what's going on. You're going to be lost in the sauce. You're going to be in peak euphoria buying random coins from people on YouTube because they're hype, and you're going to get, you're going to get wrecked. We need to know why this works, how it works, and execute on it. I can't force you to do something you don't want to do. You have to have the desire to do it and want to do it. That is what I've gotten me multiple 100x's. That is it. There's so many shiny objects, so much opportunity. Great. But can you put $50 grand into a 25x or not? Okay. And I'm definitely not putting $50 grand in a long-term investment that I'll never sell in 40 years that will do a 3x. Why would I want a 3x or 4x return on a coin when there's coins that are doing 25x to 30x? I'm not putting my Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP. There's a reason I only allocate 20%. Again, because it misses the point of crypto. You can invest long term, great, that's phenomenal, but I need the 25 to 50x. Do you understand?
