What have you learned about hiring, and specifically, what have you learned about hiring senior people?
Yeah, I, I think the most important thing for me, especially when I, when I look at hiring senior people, is what I call attitude and aptitude. Um, you know, I like to say, and I think it's true, like everybody I hire is smarter than me, but there, it, it's, it's 100% true in terms of if we look at a role specific, right? So I'll, I'll look at Jeannie as an example. Jeannie was my first executive hire as my, as my CFO. I mean, she, you know, she knows orders of magnitude more than I ever even want to know about, you know, the finance role. And so when I look at it, it's less about me trying to go and challenge her to see if she understands the CFO-ness. That's what background checks and, you know, and stuff are for. What I want to know is, is she going to add positively to the culture of 1Password, 'cause it will change, right? It will change when you bring in somebody. And she's been the most wonderful, you know, human to bring into us as a company. And she's absolutely positively changed the culture of 1Password. And that's what's most important is to try and understand ahead of time the, what I call attitude and aptitude, right? And the second side of aptitude, because The attitude, I think, is, is really important from culture. The aptitude, it comes down to, they may be great people and they may be great additions to the culture, but they may not be a fit for where we are as a company.
