In this brief segment of the BizToBiz Podcast, two speakers discuss the unnecessary expense of basic cable when a simple antenna can provide local television channels. Speaker B suggests using an antenna instead of paying for cable, recalling how their dad installed a makeshift antenna on a window, reminiscent of the old "rabbit ears" TV antennas. Speaker A acknowledges having seen similar setups. The exchange highlights a cost‑saving, DIY approach to TV reception and evokes nostalgia for older antenna technology.

It's crazy that you could like literally go to basic cable just so you have basic cable. That's what I had. Right.
You don't need that. Oh, you don't need it. You need the antenna so you can get the local television shows. Right. Okay. My dad has that in his room, like I said, in a couple pockets. Weird, because it's like, you know, we used to have the rabbit ears. You have to be playing around. My dad just like stuck something on his window.
Yeah, I've seen that.
And that's the antenna. Right. So.
