Square and Stripe don't offer phone support, which means they can't help merchants when batch processing fails or transactions spike. Real merchant services companies pick up the phone and fix problems immediately.

But what makes you great as a salesperson, what makes you great as an ISO and as a company, is when those problems arise that you handle it head on. There's always going to be batch issues. There's always going to be issues with risk and somebody ran a transaction that was higher than it should have been run. That's always going to be the case. But how do you survive in the midst of your merchants having issues knowing that they can count on you? Square and Stripe are never going to be able to compare to us on that. Yeah, they don't even have a phone number to call. There you go.
