A short YouTube talk by Amanda Hainline explaining the anatomy of chakras: where the seven main chakras are located (front and back counterparts), how chakras draw in and expel energy, how chakras represent one another internally, and how imbalances (tears, enlargement, displacement) manifest. The presenter notes individual variation (some people have more than seven chakras), mentions 21 minor chakras, and states that acupuncture points act as small chakras.

Hey guys, great to see you again. This is Amanda. Today we're going to talk about the anatomy of a chakra. Now a lot of you know what chakras are, you know where they are in your body. But we don't talk a lot about the actual anatomy of the chakra, what it looks like, other than just being this energy center that we exchange energy with our universal energy field. Okay, so today we're going to talk about that. This is a chakra. And chakras are found not only on the front of your body, but on the back of your body as well. It has a counterpart in the back. So here's where they generally are. Your crown chakra, your third eye, your throat chakra, your heart chakra, solar plexus chakra, sacral chakra and root chakra. Now this is what the ones that run down the center of your body look like. This one and this one don't actually have counterparts to them, but the crown and the root. The root draws energy up from the bottom, the crown draws it in from the top. Okay, so this is, this is the, let's just say it's the solar plexus chakra right here. Okay. Sits right there. It's emotional center. Okay. Your body. So each one of your chakras is represented inside that chakra. So this is in no particular order because everyone's energy system is a little bit different. And that's something that is important to note as well. Some people actually have more chakras than this going down the center of their body. Everyone's just a little bit different, like a fingerprint. So this may be your root chakra. This is, this may be your sacral chakra. That might be your solar plexus, your heart, throat, crown, third eye. Okay, so what's important to notice, each chakra is represented inside each other chakra. So this is your solar plexus chakra. So the energy is coming in here, the chakra is spinning to draw in the energy. That's how that works. It also expels energy as well. So there's this process of giving and taking as we give and receive energy from other people from the universal energy field, all of that good stuff. So let's say your sacral chakra has a tear in it. Maybe you give, give, give in your life, but you don't really ever receive. So that chakra is out of balance. It'll have a tear in it or maybe it's enlarged or something like that. So because that particular chakra is enlarged or out of balance. A lot of times where this is represented inside the other chakra, the sacral chakra, maybe this will be, you know, kind of misshapen, or maybe that will have a tear in it, or maybe that will be what we call sprung. So maybe it's actually hanging out here outside the chakra. So when that's spinning around, it's kind of. It's kind of in an unstable place. When the energy comes in, you know, if it's coming into your emotional center, your body's not only processing it. You know, your energy is not only processing it through your energy system in the form of the emotional center, but in representation to all these other places. You know, your spiritual center and your sexual center, your heart center, throat center, and so on. So this is how your energy system is represented as far as your chakras go. And like I said, there's the front chakras and the back chakras. So everyone has some rendition of this system going on in their body. And like I said, everyone's a little different. Some people have a few more chakras than others. Different places. We have seven major chakras. In general, we have 21 minor chakras. And then we have. The acupuncture points in our body are actually all little chakras. So that's just an overview of the chakra, the anatomy of the chakra. Thanks for watching and I'll see you next time.
