Bad Karma or Good Karma? The Law of Cause and Effect explained

Amanda Hainline explains karma as a system of balance rather than punishment, using examples like traffic to show how cause and effect work instantly. Karmic cycles can span lifetimes and repeat in relationships, but they can be resolved through love and conscious effort.

Hey, everyone. It's Amanda. I wanted to talk to you today about something that everybody's heard of and everybody talks about at some point in their life, even if it's just in passing, even if they don't believe in it in a deep way. And that is karma. Everyone has it. Everyone deals with it on daily basis. And I just wanted to give you my take on karma today. Give you my take on what it is, how it comes into our life, what it looks like. Okay, so the. The easiest way I can say that we experience karma, at least the way I experience karma that gives me immediate feedback is traffic. If someone cuts me off in traffic, it may have been because maybe I accidentally cut someone off the day before or five minutes before in traffic or. Or if I let someone into traffic, if I need help getting into traffic, someone is always there to let me in. It's this instant feedback. So karma is one of those things that people say, oh, that's bad karma. That's good karma. But really, karma is just about balance. And something that's important to understand about karma is it's not always an instant thing. It's not always an instant feedback that you get. You know, you see those people that go through their life, you're like, oh, you know, gosh, wouldn't you know, what is karma gonna, you know, kick them in the teeth? Or. Why do all these bad things happen to this person? They're so nice, and I don't understand. And while those are complex answers, one of the. One of the aspects of that is karma. So karma is something that's just about balance. So we could have, you know, we have this whole. This whole span of our soul's journey, right? It's not just this lifetime. So karma, you know, from 10 lifetimes ago, something we did either whether it was what we viewed as good or bad, you know, everything's really just experienced with the soul. But in our polarity, we experience things as good or bad, so that karma may take a while to get balanced. So if we have a lot of things that happen to us in our life that are super frustrating, you know, some people just. They feel like they always have bad luck, that kind of thing. It could be karma being balanced from other lifetimes. It's also sometimes people just have really, really large growth, soul growth in a lifetime, and that can be what it is. And really, those dovetail together. So karma is something that's just about balance. It's not about something getting back at you or, you know, you did something bad and something Bad is going to happen to you. It's just all about things balancing out. Another thing is, whenever we have people come into our life that maybe frustrate us sometimes that is a karmic thing that we have with that person. We've had it for lifetimes. Some people, you know, spar with each other lifetime after lifetime, and they just one. One person does something one lifetime. The next person does something in the other lifetime, and it just goes back and forth. And that is a cycle that sometimes you can break and that you can stop from happening anymore. So some of the recordings on your Soul Tribe are actually about karma. You can Google that or Google it. You can search that in the video search portion of the website and be able to find the ones about karma. If you see something on there that doesn't quite fit you or didn't quite fit your situation, you can email me suggestions. And I would be happy to make videos or recordings in regards to your particular situation because you're not alone. There's going to be more than one person out there other than just you. So whenever you send in your suggestions, you're actually helping everyone out in the group. That's much appreciated. But karma is just one of those things that gets messages still a lot, I feel like. And I just wanted to clarify kind of what my take on karma was today and let you know, like, you know, if someone comes into your life that's frustrating, you've probably had karma with this person. Even if as soon as you meet them or see them, you're like, oh, I just. I don't care for that person. Something about them just rubs you the wrong way. It's probably because you guys have had a thing for a long time, many lifetimes that you've been dealing with. And. And so just know that's what it is. Just as much as if you see someone and you feel like you've known them forever, you have, you know, many, many lifetimes you've probably had with the same person. And you've been playing out many of the similar roles in all of these lifetimes. So that's just something to keep in mind. You know, there is karma between you and somebody else. It's not a permanent thing. It can be resolved and diffused so that you don't keep continuing that playing out lifetime after lifetime. You give yourself a break, you know, and start really working to balance that karma so that no more is created and working to not create more karma. You know, if someone is giving you a hard time, giving them love is going to help to diffuse that karma faster than anything, even if it is difficult. So that's just something to keep in mind about karma. Let me know your thoughts, and I'll talk to you next time.
