This summer we've just finished with our first group of summer interns and it's been a phenomenal experience for this year. Students flying in from all over the world to get this unprecedented hands-on experience in financial markets.
The reason this programme was so appealing to me, because the practical experience you gain.
I thought it would be a good learning experience as a non-finance student. And what this, I believe, gave me the chance to do was to really find out what area of finance I want to go into.
My biggest highlight with absolute no doubt has been the broking simulation.

Well, the social events were really, really fun and they were quite a highlight.
Trading on the CQG platform, I didn't expect to actually be going onto a live market and trading exactly what millions of traders around the world are trading.

Meeting industry professionals, former people who used to work in very senior positions in very prestigious banks, that definitely has probably been the highlight for me. So I think it's a whole mix of things, it's kind of a jack of all trades.
Everybody who works here has had exposure to the financial industry.
You guys really do start from basics and I think just ask as many questions as possible. Because no one has made me feel like that's a silly question. It doesn't feel like a 4-week intense programme at all, you know. The content is really interesting to learn, and the more you learn, the easier everything else becomes.
I think it's a complete necessity that if you're doing this track, you should do it. If you're coming into the world of finance, you have to do the Amplify programme.
To be honest, I think it has exceeded my expectations significantly.
And it's so much nicer to be able to do that with a group of people that you've bonded really well with, so 100% recommend the course.
I wish I could stay longer and do it all over again.
Without any question of a doubt, this is the most satisfying thing we do here at Amplify Trading, and hopefully one day we'll actually be using them as a client when they're working as MDs or VPs for some of the world's largest investment banks, asset managers, and hedge funds worldwide.
