Amplify's Summer Analyst programme puts students in real-time trading using proprietary tools like simulators and the Flow Trader platform. Interns trade all day, build confidence, and figure out which finance roles fit them. Historical data simulations help clarify career goals.
Amplify wants to disrupt traditional financial market education. We believe it can be much more practical and relevant to the markets today.
Through the experience of doing, they can actually then fall back on these real true experiences and really talk about the markets in a really enthusiastic, confident, interesting way. That makes them quite uniquely different from the other candidates.
Being able to try trade all day on the platforms, but also on the simulators, the portfolio manager, Flow Trader. There's such a wealth of different technologies that are used here that it's a great experience to have.
Amplifier is really there for students to try and fill a gap that— how do you know what you want to do until you've done it?
My favorite part of the internship was probably the simulations, because you got the chance to actually play the role in real time using previous years' data sets. And so that gave me a chance to experience all the different roles and helped me figure out exactly where I want to go. I had quite high expectations for the course, and the course matched and exceeded my expectations, and it's been amazing.
