Divya, an AML compliance officer at the National Bank of Fujairah and mother of two young children, shares her health journey. She explains a family history of obesity, which initially made her less concerned about weight gain. After her second child, she experienced back and neck pain, chronic fatigue, and difficulty keeping up with her kids, prompting her to consider lifestyle changes despite doubts about time and commitment. She tried a fitness program that required only 20‑30 minutes of exercise per day and imposed no strict diet, allowing her to become more conscious about food choices. Over three months she lost about 3 kg, improved her body measurements, regained confidence to wear favorite clothes, and now feels energetic throughout the day. The testimonial emphasizes the program’s ease, flexibility, and the positive impact on her daily life.

My name is Divya. Like, I'm a full-time profession in National Bank of Fujairah. I'm working as an AML compliance officer. Two babies, two kids. One is 4 years old and one is 1 year old. So, um, actually genetically I have a family of like— everybody in my family are fat. My mom, my grandmother, all of them are fat. So I was not that much concerned when I am putting on weight. I was initially, I was not very much concerned. Even when my husband told me like, take care of your weight because you have a gene of getting fat easier, so take care and all. That time I didn't realize, but after the second baby, um, then small issues started like back pain. Some I get easily, I was becoming very tired Tired. I realized, okay, something I should do, something is not okay with me. I get sick every time, very easily sick and all. Overall, I was not fine, I was not fit. First thing is I have to run behind these kids, both boys, and I have to run behind them. I can't cope up with them. That was the thing. Then I was not able to play with my elder one. When we are in the park and all, I was not able to run behind him. Then I have some pains. I started, uh, in back pain, neck pain and all started. Then I— then only I realized. But it was not too late, uh, like in the starting stage itself I started thinking that I should do something, but I was doubting myself. Will I be able to do this with my office timing? And after coming home, I'm like busy full time. So I was doubting that and my commitment level, how it would be, like how far I can take this and all. I had all this kind of doubts. So I gave it a try for that one week. And that first 5 days itself, like, it was amazing. And I liked it because it was very easy. I think so straining yourself, nothing so difficult to follow. Everything very much easy. And it's doable. I thought first thing will be dieting and all. I won't be— I have never followed dieting in my life at all, because I get tempted very easily. I know myself, so I don't give it a try also. I thought, okay, I have to— for my health, okay, if I have to do something, I have to sacrifice, then I'll do. And second thing was exercising. I can't do that. It'll be tough. I can't follow I would— all these things were in my mind and timing. I can't spend time for that. These were my— I mean, I thought it will be like that. But once I joined, it just took 20 minutes to 30 minutes max for the exercise, for the full exercise. And that is very much doable. I can spend 30 minutes in a day for me. So that was it. And second thing, dieting. There is no restriction at all. So I started understanding about the food, like what I am eating. Only then I thought I was conscious. Even now I am very conscious. You know, I've lost only 3 kgs in these 3 months, but still it's making a very big difference. Maybe my measurements are good now, so I've improved that. So And I'm happy to wear my favorite clothes now. That's the best part. The day starts very fresh, and I feel very energetic throughout the day.
