Okay, and survey which I did, um, so you, you actually asked me about how to be consistent with the fitness journey. So most of the times we start the journey and then on the way of the journey you give up. So today I thought of talking about what is the main reason why you are not being consistent with your fitness journey. So if you are still new to our channel, you can click on the subscribe button and do join. And my name is Arvind Badmaraju and I am a founder of HAFIT on a mission of making 100K working professionals fit and healthy. And with that, I want to create a new breed of healthy and fit kids. So what I strongly believe is building the habits is only way you can build fitness. So fitness is a lifestyle, so take fitness as a lifestyle. So don't, don't do it just for losing weight's sake. Don't start the journey and don't go into a restrictive shortcut methods. Always follow the long-term and sustainable approach which fits into your lifestyle. That is what is most important. So let's come back to this, today's, um, uh, topic of how to be consistent with your fitness journey. So that's what we're gonna discuss. So I'll be giving you my own, uh, perspective about how, um, I am being consistent with my fitness journey and I was able to make it part of it, and, uh, how I'm taking my journey and how some of my clients I guided by using these techniques. So I'm going to share it with you now. So take a lot of notes, and if you like anything, do let me know. And if they— and if you are trying to implement any one of them which I'm going to share, and do, do let me know which is, uh, which one you are trying to focus on fixing it. So the first and foremost reason why you are not being consistent is you don't have a strong reason. If you, if you listen my story, I had a very strong reason why I am not Even though I had a lot of challenges, I never quit on my journey. I think you know about my story, right? So where I wanted to look like a fit husband and fit dad, those are the two main reasons why I'm consistently following my routine. So you should have very strong reason and clarity that why you're doing what you're doing. So without that, you cannot be consistent. So at least find out what is that why, ask multiple questions. Why do you want to do it? Just for the sake of losing weight, don't do it, because the moment you hit it, you go back to your old habits. So find out what is that strong why. That is the first step. The second thing is always start small. For example, you have to do 5 steps to reach your goal. Don't focus on all, all of them at once. Start small. Just focus on one thing at a time. Make that as a habit. Try for 10 days, 15 days. Once it is automatically happening as part of a routine, then focus on the other one, then focus on the one. And that is the step number 2. And also on the, under step number 2, don't try to do 100%. For example, if you are not even have at least, um, you are at 0%, you cannot directly attain it for 100%. Only aim for 1%, 2%, 3%, so 4%, 5%. Slowly, slowly increase your, um, the game, or, you know, the actions what you're trying to take. Don't try to take 10% of 365 degrees difference of, you know, what you're trying to do. Slowly, slowly increment your tasks on day-to-day tasks. And the third important thing is you are not consistent mainly because you are not scheduling your priorities. So I cannot stress much on it, and I'm literally telling you, if you don't manage your time and if you don't set up priorities, why do you need to do and it is not going to happen. So one of the biggest thing is we, we fail to— we try to prioritize our schedule, but we need to schedule our priorities. So this is Stephen Covey, very awesomely said, and it is absolutely true. And also have a kind of a reward once you achieve that one. What do you want to give it to your body? Okay, and if you don't give up a reward, if you don't do it, and also have a punishment kind of a thing. So this will actually work like wonders. So try that. So the third point is schedule your priorities. And the fourth, the biggest reason most of the times people fail, even I failed multiple times, we go in all in and all out method. Whether you do it, if any break comes in, that's the last day of it. So you need to break that kind of a mentality. And see, life is all about challenges, and you, you come across loss, so many kind of challenges. What is your most important is accept and fall back to the plan. Even out of 365 days, even 100 days you did not do it, 265 days you followed. Every time you, you failed, you fall back to your plan. Will still get you better results. You can still be better than where you started with your journey. So this, this is the most important thing. Don't come out of that mentality. Accept of all the challenges what you faced and fall back to the plan as soon as you are out of that distractions. And step number, uh, 5 is, so don't link your daily tasks with your end goals. So what does that mean is every single day, don't look— for example, you have started your fitness journey, every single day You link your task with end result. If you don't lose weight, then you don't do your task. If you lose weight, then you do the task. That doesn't work. So do a task as if it has to be done, irrespective of what is end result, right? So what is your hand is you giving 100% of your efforts. Whether you're gonna get the result or not, leave it to the universe or leave it to the task. One, the moment you know that your path is right As long as you're moving forward and putting a consistent effort, you're gonna get the result. But don't link your tasks with your end goal. This is one of the biggest reasons why you get disappointed and why you quit after beyond certain point if you don't see a result. And the step number 6 is associate with like-minded people. So if you have any friend who are into a same kind of a goal, try to be with them. And if you have any kind of a community, try to participate and be active in the community. That is one of the way it will keep you pushing yourself, and you, you see others and you get motivated by looking at them and by seeing their transformation, by seeing their progress. So this is one of the ways you can be also consistent. So what is the overall, if you see, through just to recap, you should have a strong why Always start small, focus on incremental progress rather than bumping up your progress. Step number 3 is schedule your priorities. Set your priorities and have a schedule for that priorities so that you can easily attain and be consistent. And step number 4 is come out of this all, um, all in and all out method or a mindset. So accept even the distractions are part and parcel of a day. Accept that and fall back to the plan the moment you complete the distraction. And step number 5 is don't link your day-to-day task with your end result or end goals. So do a task as if it has to be done rather than, uh, don't link it with your goal. Like, you know, every day if you get a result, you focus, you put on actions. If you don't get a result, you don't put on actions. You have to come out of that mindset. The step number— the last step is be with the community and like-minded people, because you being with them So they are being consistent, you become consistent, and their actions becomes your actions, and their results becomes your results. So that's how you want to get the result. That's how you're going to become— be consistent. So if you really like this video, and if you, um, if you're going to start, uh, doing any one of these tasks, do let me know what you want to implement. Again, as part of what you said, only take one point what I told and, uh, be consistent and add another tasks on top of it. Okay, so with that, I am ending this video.
