This is a YouTube reaction video titled "Christian vs Ex-Christian Debate… I Had to Respond" (posted 2026-05-23). The excerpt is a multi-speaker, diarized discussion/debate — a host/reactor responds to a conversation between Christians and former-Christians about faith, scripture and interpretation, church hypocrisy, abortion, the accuracy of the Bible (e.g., the 'Slave Bible'), heaven/hell vs. New Age concepts (vibrations, chakras, 'I am God'), and whether religion is manipulative. Multiple unnamed participants (labelled SPEAKER A–F) trade arguments, rebuttals and emotional reactions; the host frequently rebukes New Age views and defends orthodox Christian positions. Language is English and the format is an online debate/reaction intended for a public audience.

What?
I am God. Who do you think you are? Just demonic. Straight up demonic. I'm sorry, I have to say it.
To control people, and people have used it that way, to separate people. A pot can be used as a weapon, doesn't mean you shouldn't cook with it.
Oh, she cooked it with that one though. Within its context, because if they did that, it would obliterate the idea. Welcome YouTube. Today I'm going to be reacting to Christians versus former Christians and their conversation with each other, a little bit of a debate style video. Hopefully I'll be able to put some comments in what I think about the conversation as a whole.
Christianity is the only true religion.
For me, my personal belief, religion is created to manipulate control. For me, spirituality— I was once a former Baptist. I grew up in the church. I was in the church choir. Life experiences led me to spirituality because I felt like I was being manipulated and controlled.
To control people, and people have used it that way to separate people. A pot can be used as a weapon, doesn't mean you shouldn't cook with it.
Oh, she cooking with that one though. A pot can be used as a weapon That doesn't mean you don't— you shouldn't cook with it, right? So the idea is almost like—
it was—
it's really the same idea that you have when the scripture talks about money. It says the love of money is the root to all kinds of evil. It's not saying that money is the root to all sorts of evil, it's the love of it. So it's this idea that money can— is a very powerful and potent thing. Of course, it can bring great destruction, but if you use it correctly, it can bring great good. Anything that carries power has the capability of being used for great evil Or great good. The Bible is a powerful thing because a lot of people believe in it, because it holds, or it claims to hold authority, and I believe it does. It holds authority and it's holy. If somebody wants to use it for evil, they can, and they have, obviously. But it's also difficult to use it for evil. If many people know, in order for the Bible to be used for slavery, they had to tear out parts of the Bible in order for it to fit in their narrative, right? They couldn't use the whole thing within its context because if they did that, it would Obliterate the idea. But a lot of people don't understand that, like, the Slave Bible wasn't just the Bible, it was torn-out parts of the Bible. So within its context, because if they did that, it would obliterate the idea. But a lot of people don't understand that, like, the Slave Bible wasn't just the Bible, it was torn-out parts of the Bible. So yeah, that's a really good point. I like that a lot.
Growing up in the church, and I'm an ordained minister also, non-denominational, She's an ordained minister and an ex-Christian, non-denominational.
I have some— I don't have much. You know, I'm not going to say— well, let me say it. Shoot. There's too many non-denoms that I know they hold these sort of ideas. And that's nothing against non-denoms. But there are plenty of good non-denominational churches. That's the same way for Baptist churches and other denominations. So I'm not hating on non-denoms. But I have seen an oddly increase of ex-nondenominationals. I don't know why that's the case, but I have seen that. I've also seen a lot of nondenominationals be very inclusive. Now, obviously, I love including people, but they're inclusive in a way that's against the scriptures. Like, I see a lot of nondenoms that are pro-LGBTQ, for example. Like, that's clearly against scripture. The Bible tells us that do not be fooled, right? Nor the sexually immoral nor the homosexual will inherit the kingdom of heaven.
There is a wrestle that happens, and when you surrender, you get understanding. And sometimes you don't get full understanding, but it's a surrender to understand who God is and understanding the heart of God.
But she's absolutely right. It takes a humble spirit in order to understand the scriptures and understand what God is saying within the scriptures. So there's only one interpretation, right? There's multiple applications. Interpretation is easily manipulated due to your Pride, due to your values, all those sorts of things. And so if you're unwilling to lay those to the sides in order to, well, at least look at it with an open mind, then you're never going to get the true interpretation of scripture.
All that is God, from God, is good.
In all honesty, if you are of that belief, there is absolutely, positively, 1,000% that anything that I can say, I don't care how many peer-reviewed, how many resources, how many Stats, how many websites that I would be able to give you to show that that is a fallacy, because she has the conviction in her heart that Jesus is her personal Savior. Nothing that I put in front of her is going to change anything that she believes. Sense of, we believe this, we believe that, and then because of abortion, if we want to just go there, because of the, the reason of abortion.
There we go. Yeah, okay. So yeah, that's a major reason actually. If you believe that it's a true human life, it's like, well, do you want thousands, you know, millions of lives to just be slaughtered?
We got to protect the babies, that we got to protect the babies. There are 15,000 things over here, but that one thing, because of your Christian ideology, you are willing to—
Because of your human ideology, you don't even need to be a Christian. You just have to understand. You just have to be a human being who understands that that's still a human being. That's all it takes.
Vote against your best interest. It's a little bit of a cult.
I'd love to hear one of the ten.
Yeah, I was gonna say.
And like, that's what we're here for.
I just, I just want to hear one of the contradictions.
Girlfriend, menopause brain fog. But if you want me to get my phone and we sit here and I get my reading glasses, I mean, if we want to sit down and get a table and be like, all right, let's go to this. But that's not what this show is.
It is though.
Because no, I'm not gonna sit here and do the homework. Because my whole point is you guys know that there are falsities in the Bible.
Show us.
We're not going to do that. The thing is, if you know that there are things that are not true, because we know that everything in the Bible is not 100% correct and/or accurate, and you cannot sit here and say that that's not true. You're like, okay, yeah, there's a couple of things where we're like, all right, we know that to be true.
The, the Bible is— all right, let me stop you there before we say something that's just wrong. Now, what I said here wasn't completely wrong, but I felt like it left too much room for misinterpretation. So what I'm trying to say is this: the Bible we have today is based on thousands of manuscript copies that contain small variations. Most of these are minor and do not change the core message. However, because we don't have the original manuscripts, scholars use textual criticism to determine the most accurate original wording. Differences in translation often come from translation philosophy rather than contradictions or major textual corruption. Okay, that sounds good. Yeah.
You guys have said, oh no, everything in it isn't true. It ends the discussion because in order to have a conversation, you've got to give a little bit to be able to say, hey, here are these 10 sources.
You're—
even if I got my purse right now and pulled that out, you're still going to say I'm gonna have to look over this. I don't know. I need to go over this with my pastor and my spiritual guide, whatever. It's not— it's not going to change you. There is nothing that I can say to any of you that is going to change—
She doesn't know that. She's jumping to all these preconceptions.
Your mind. Nothing.
I, I mean, you said that's not what we're here for, but we are here for that.
So change my mind?
No, no, not that.
So in one sentence, what are we here for?
Darling, can I speak?
I am, but I'm saying, so what are we here for?
I can tell you. For a discussion, and for the people who are also listening to hear, you know, so it's not necessarily these people, the thousands of people that might be watching.
I don't think if anybody is completely convicted or in within their conviction, this one episode is not going to change them. Now, will it raise an eyebrow? Will it change? Will it raise an eyebrow of maybe I'll go do a little research? What is she talking about? There's inaccuracies in the Bible.
Yes. Oh my goodness, that's the point. It does change them, right? If someone gets in contact with this video, it could— it could bring them on trajectory closer towards God, you know. So they watch this video like, oh wait, this woman is kind of flawed in her view. I see the logic in this woman's thought. How about I look into this? Or the opposite. Oh, I think the Christians here are kind of flawed. Let me look into what they're talking about and be like, oh wait, I don't believe in this, you know. So it's not true that it doesn't change people's mind. It clearly does. That's the point of this, is to make people think. And so that's why we're here for this discussion.
Well, you all— That ain't no Jesus.
You all left. At some point, your minds were changed in a different direction.
There we go.
The changing of minds is possible.
Thank you.
Yours all did.
Well, it just depends on where you were. Were you there out of force and tradition and habit, or were you there out of personal conviction? Well, we don't know that. So that's a difference. That's a completely different conversation. You can't combine the two. It's two different worlds.
Why is she debating the, the, the host? Calm down, girl. Spirit of humility, a spirit of calmness. I hear debating with the host. We know what we're here for. We're here to have a conversation, and hopefully the conversation can lead to a transformation of the audience. And that's the point, unless you're here for a different reason, right? I guess it's the purpose of each individual.
Christianity has shaped my views on womanhood.
For me, Christianity shaped me kind of in a negative light. I was a victim of child rape, and because I grew up in the church, they say, oh, if you're not a virgin, you go to hell. If you're born out of wedlock— not all churches, certain denominations.
If you're not a virgin, you go to hell? Which denomination says that?
What?
You don't go to hell because you're not a virgin. You go to hell because You're a sinner.
And I sat there and was in the church for all my life. I had low self-worth because of what they were preaching.
The issue is here— I'm not sure if this was conviction or maybe it was bad preaching, but the main issue is this: they judged the figure of Christ based off the people and not based off of his own excellence. So they read the scripture, and then instead of reading about Jesus and getting Jesus They read the scripture, they read about Jesus, but then they let the actions of flawed human beings dictate their perception on the figure of Christ. You're a Christian not because other people are Christian. You're a Christian not because some other people act good as Christians. You're Christian because Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through him. You should be Christian because God sent his one and only Son to die on the cross for our sins, that whoever believeth in him shall not perish but have eternal life, right? John 3:16, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. You shouldn't be a Christian because other people are Christians. That's, that's a huge flaw.
People getting cast away from their family just because they like the same sex or something like that. And but then again, they'll still be cool with the pastors who are sleeping with the whole congregation, molesting boys. It's like the hypocrisy.
No one is cool with that. Okay, this is another inflation. No one— there's no true Christian that's like, hey, we're not cool with homosexuality, but we're cool with our pastor having sex with little children. I promise you, there's no real Christian that's cool with that. Again, your perception of it, but it's not what it is. You know, you need to go beyond what— how you need to go beyond the subjectivity and go to the objectivity of the belief. Christianity is both fruitful and true objectively.
They can attract a lifestyle of heaven. Yeah, but what if something— what if something really horrible happened to them during the time that they were believing that they were in heaven?
It's all in your mindset. So when things happen, most people, they act out of fear, and that leads them to more of those circumstances. But when things happen, you pray or you give gratitude. Like, for me, when I'm in—
Pray? Who are we praying to? You pray, give gratitude. What are we talking about? These are— you are borrowing Christian— the Christian ethos without being one.
A situation that is turmoil, I will pray and I will also give thanks to God because I know that this situation is helping me to grow or helping me learn.
Oh, hold on, so she's saying That she's a Christian— no, not a Christian, she's a believer in a God. She's spiritual, but she's not a Christian. Interesting. It's almost like she's borrowing Christian lingo in order to deal with the circumstances in life. Like, I will take all the good parts out of Christianity.
You just don't believe it. You just don't believe in heaven or hell, correct? Yes. But life after death, you're not sure about that part, correct?
Yes.
As I'm still on my journey of deconstructing from What I was just taught growing up.
So where do you get the— this mindset that you have now? Where did you get it from?
I read a lot, and I realized that—
Demons. Demons. That's where they get it from. Demonic spirit whisper in their ear, hey, hey, you can have this, you know. Hey, hey, how about there's, there's no heaven or hell, so there's no consequences of your actions. And and and and it doesn't matter really what you do. There's there's no Jesus. What? Jesus isn't true. Why isn't Jesus true? Well, look how those people treated you. If Jesus was true, those people wouldn't treat you like that. You know, it's the it's the little demonic spirit whispering in their ears. It's their own ego telling them. It's their own flesh. It's their own desires. And then they just they just melt into it and they become one with it. And then you actually get to the point where you believe it. There is a point where they don't. There's a point where they're. Like they're saying, they're transitioning from this idea, and there's a point where they're kind of like know that they're lying to themselves, or at least are very confused, and then they just allow the confusion to take over, and then they're like, "This is my new order." It's beyond me that I am God because that's just my belief that I am God.
You're God. You're God. Everyone is God. We all are God.
I rebuke that.
Okay, let's come back to the question.
I rebuke that. We started rebuking that at the same time. I rebuke that.
Oh God, you are God. I rebuke that in the name of Jesus.
You are God. I rebuke that.
Okay, let's come back.
Yeah, I rebuke that. I rebuke that. I am God. You are God. You are God. No, no, you're not. Talk about hell on earth. That's how you get there. That's how you get there. You think everyone, everyone thinks they're God. That's how you get as close as possible to hell on earth. I am God. I am God. Oh my goodness, the pride in that. It's, it's satanic. It's, it's actually really sad because she genuinely believes that. That's how fallen we are.
To the question, okay, so you believe that you can have a relationship with God through others?
No, she believes she is God. Raises to another level of shivering the timbers, another level of trembling vibrations. I am God. Who do you think you are?
In my opinion, you can create heaven or hell on earth. Of course, there's going to be certain circumstances that come towards you to put you closer or further away on your journey, but it's about how your vibration— the higher you vibrate, you create heaven, which is head. The lower you vibrate, you create hell on earth, which is heel. That's why they call it heel. It's all about vibration.
When we die, that's why they call it heel.
What? I call it hell.
Um, no, that's not what Jesus was talking about. He wasn't talking about vibrations. He was clearly using parables to show us a spiritual physical location. That's a really weird thing to say because we really don't understand the spiritual realm. It is not the case that we can create heaven on earth or heaven or hell on earth because Christ was clearly talking about a place of darkness where there is gnashing of teeth, right? He's talking about a certain location where we physically are expressing signs of pain and things of that nature. And they're borrowing Christian lingo and then twisting it to fit their narrative based off of other books they've read. That's— no.
I'm not exactly sure, but I really believe we don't die, we transcend.
So you have brought up some interesting points.
We don't die, we transcend. Well, that's almost close to the Christian thoughts as well. Within the Christian thought, we don't think we spiritually die, right? We believe the spirit is eternal. So in a way, we don't die, but our physical bodies die, right? Our physical— and so our inner man will go into paradise or hell. And so yeah, we don't die in that way. And I don't know what she means by energy. Energy is a very new agey term. But if she means by energies, our spirits, then kind of, but not in the way that she's depicting it for sure.
What religion, if you had to pick a box, What religion is God?
There's no religion because that's man-made, right?
Okay, so what I want to get to is how do you have this relationship with God if you're not connected to, say, Christianity or any form of organized religion? How do you have this relationship with God?
I would say God is your higher self. And what you were speaking about before, vibrations— so you have chakras.
Most— Wow. Oh my goodness, I could have said that. New Agey terms. They're New Agers. At least 2 of them are. I don't know what the middle one's doing. New Agers, that's what it is. I am God. When she said I am God, I should have had a big reaction to that. What? I am God? Who do you think you are? You are not God. This is insane. You think you have that kind of You're not all-powerful. You're not almighty. You didn't create all things, and all things weren't created through you. That's blasphemy if I've ever heard it. Um, yeah, but that's a very New Agey term. That's very, very much what they're talking about, this idea of chakra balancing and all that nonsense. Yeah, just demonic, straight up demonic. I'm sorry, I have to say it. No, don't do that. Don't follow that. And even when you get something out of it, it's not something— it's not the Spirit of God. It's not holy. It's not Good. If y'all enjoyed this video, I just ask that y'all, you know, like it, share it, show that you want me to do more things like this. If that's not the case, obviously don't do that. But I hope this video was hopefully somewhat entertaining, uplifted you, and hopefully edified you in some ways. And hopefully I can do some more videos like this if that's what y'all would like to see. Thank y'all. Love y'all. God loves y'all. Peace. All right, you can hang up now. You can hang it up now.
