A proposal for launching drones from orbit using a re-entry vehicle that survives Mach-15 speeds and deploys a parachute to release a swarm across thousands of kilometers. The concept offers operational freedom but requires careful handling to avoid geopolitical escalation.
And so the rocket would enter an orbital trajectory, probably not a ballistic trajectory, 'cause you wouldn't want to accidentally start World War III. And then you would have a reentry vehicle that would be capable of doing a Mach 15 reentry and travel thousands of kilometers off the nominal orbital trajectory. And then you would pop a parachute and then the drones would deploy and then they would conduct a mission. So you would have tremendous operational freedom not necessarily above where you were, um, you were orbiting.
