Ashlee Vance tours Zipline's facility to see how delivery drones are built. The walkthrough covers the avionics, motors, and controllers that make them fly, plus the virtual mission simulations that test them before they launch.
Alright, filming at Zipline. This is where they have all the avionics, all the electronics in the drones, and even in the baby drone. There's that part. Got your motors and motor controllers, the central brains of the operation. So the antennas is where the batteries go. And then they run simulations, so it's like a brain in a vat, a brain in a vat situation here with the drones flying missions in virtual land. This room is cool. There's David. This room is very cool. Hopefully this is ITAR compliant. I'm sure it is.
