At Machina Labs, two Fanuc robots work together to shape sheet metal into a drone body. One holds the metal steady while the other forms it with precision and speed, replacing what a human craftsperson would do by hand.

Alright, here we go. We're at Machina Labs. We're gonna do a little robot metal forming. We got some sheet metal up there, and we have this giant Fanuc robot with a tool on its end, and we're gonna make something that looks like that over there, which is part of a UAV, a drone, the body of the drone. And so this robot has a buddy over here, and this one holds the back of the metal and it kind of keeps the shape while the one on this side goes around and starts to do the movements that a human would normally do to shape the metal. And it's pretty crazy. This giant machine does this really fine metalwork. It's pretty awesome to see the end result. I'll show you what this part looks like over here. So we're going to replicate what we've built right here. So that's the body of the drone. You can see all of its contours over here. So these two robots, these giant things working concert together. This is part of Machina's Robo Craftsman, and they got a whole bunch of these things. We'll show you the end result in our episode. I'll probably give you a short before that, and then we'll have a big glorious episode on Machina and everything that they're doing here. Got a little Han Solo action over there. It's going to be cool.
