This is a YouTube video titled "Zuckerberg & Palmer From Feud to National Security Focus" (created 2025-08-03T14:00:23Z). It contains a recorded two-person discussion where the speakers recount a Tablet Magazine article about Anduril and Palmer, describe how Mark Zuckerberg personally responded to the reporting and reconnected with Palmer, and explain how that reconnection led to efforts to address barriers between the technology industry and the national security community to prevent needless deaths and improve collaboration.
Did you read that Tablet Magazine article about Andruil and me?
This was the first time I previously— you and, and Zach and Boz, who's what, the CTO? I think you guys weren't, weren't, uh, on the friendliest terms out in the social, social networking spheres. And then all of a sudden in this Tablet piece, which was, which was excellent. And, um, I see, I think it was there, they weren't, they both in there.
Yeah, talking about you. Certainly, Zuck was like the guy who wrote the tablet article, reached out to Meta and said, hey, you know, I'm reporting in my piece that Palmer was fired for political reasons. And I think he expected to hear back from some PR flunky and instead he actually got a response from Mark Zuckerberg himself. Himself saying Palmer's a great American, Anduril's a great company, and I'm really glad that they're doing things to protect our national security. And, um, that kicked off, uh, we ended up, we ended up reconnecting, talking about some of the problems that are going on with America, some of the inefficiencies that exist for just terrible reasons, why, how there are people who are dying because of that they're dying needlessly. People who are dying needlessly because of barriers between our technology industry and our national security community. And we ended up— we ended up deciding that this was something that we needed to work on
