People, come on up here, sister. Everybody needs a boutique bestie. I firmly believe that. And I love that I found my boutique bestie as well. Now, I love coming to this show because it is truly like unveiling of the next season, right?

It's. It's the place to go to get.

Inspired and trend and see some really cool merchandising and so many things that set you up. So I appreciate that you come and you share your trend and talk during this. I think it's so much fun. So, guys, Kelly Hoffman, please help me welcome.

Hi, you guys. Thank you, Ashley. How incredible is Ashley, by the way? You're my spirit animal. Love you. So my name is Kelly Helm and I'm the president of the Women's Shows of Magic. So I oversee Project Women's WWD Magic Stitch and Pool Trade Show. I. I actually started at Magic about 14 years ago as a customer service rep, calling all my brands like Mixology and asking for their contract and their deposit for their booth space. This is life. Then gradually, I loved what I did. I loved seeing brands and buyers connect. And sure enough, 14 years later, I am still here running this and happier than ever. So I love what I do. Seeing each and every one of you stand up and and say you've been coming for 10 shows, 5 shows, however many shows, I am so grateful. I have never felt I had chills when you were all standing up. It's so rewarding to see so many people in this room be thankful to us. So I thank you. I know you have a lot of options when buying and I'm so glad you choose Magic. So thank you so much. I just want to say that really fast, I could have cried. We work really hard for six months to put this event on for you. We try to cater to you, give you a lot of great new brands and product and have great speakers and educational opportunities and experiences. And so I just wanted to really quickly thank my team, the Magic team, for doing what they do. Thank you guys back there. We have a retail team who's been helping with VIP scale. Everybody. Thank you so much. So I love to do a little quick trend presentation for you guys. I know you're tired. It's the end of your day. I am so sorry, but we are going to go through this quickly. Hopefully you can take away one or two things for your buying trip if you want to bring those out. Girls like. So I'm going to go over a few key pieces that if you didn't know, you have to get and then I Will leave these here for a little bit once we wrap up. If you want to take a look at the brands that I showed you, definitely. I encourage you to check them out. All of the brands. I hope each and every one of you have the app. I know it's new, and we're getting used to it. We did away with the show guide. We're trying to be more sustainable and get rid of all those paper books. But if you like a brand or product, you can search in the app, just the brand, and it will take you, you know, show you the booth number, and hopefully GPS will take you right there if it works out well. So my first trend I'm going to go over are the statement code. That's not going anywhere. Codes are huge. Whether you live in la, New York, the Midwest, we definitely want statement coats. And what makes a statement coat is it might be a little oversized. It has texture. It also has some prints, and it's just something to judge up your boring jeans and a white tee. Okay, so make sure you're definitely picking up a few great statement coats for your store. These brands, I love them. The plaid's not going anywhere. I didn't try. Did any come to the trend presentation today? I did. Okay, thanks. Thanks a lot, guys. Super awesome. Anyways, I did a trend presentation, and plaid is going nowhere. So the way we kind of do trend presentations is we research and Google what are people looking for? And plaid is still really important, so make sure you grab that. Okay, thank you, guys. The next one is. This is a little extra, but I needed one extra trend for you real serious fashionistas that are willing to take risk. Feathers. Okay. This is a lot of feathers. I'm not expecting you to go to the club, but feather accents. Okay, These are from Kiki. They're more like going out nightwear for, like, your sexy girls. But I've seen a lot of just T shirts with feather on the sleeves. Okay, so I'm gonna bring it back to real life here. Or I see pants with a little feather accent, Even handbags with feathers. Feathers are coming back, so just look for your feather accents. These girls, like, search the floor, and it's hard, but I'm seeing it all over. Copenhagen Fashion Week just happened. New York Fashion Week's happening now. And feathers all over, which means it's gonna get to your girl. She's gonna want a little bit of feathers. So start looking for it. Okay?

Who likes this? Is my husband hates it. The Bermuda short. I know.

Okay, so the.

You're no Longer are your denim shorts. To the. To the hoo ha. Okay. We're gonna get them longer and more mamish. This is in trend. You definitely see your shorts going to the knee. These are denim examples. However, when you're wearing an amazing pantsuit that's men wear, menswear inspired, you are also now seeing the Bermuda shorts with the pick with the soothing. And you're seeing, like this, you're seeing them with pleather or vegan leather. So definitely Bermuda shorts. Okay. That's one of my top ones. It's all over, actually. Hannah wore an incredible number. A suit that was clad with the Bermuda show or if it's yesterday, and it was so cute. So definitely do that. And we'll leave those up here also for you to take a look at. Now, I always talk about some of the trendsetters, influencers. Kim Kardashian still setting the way. She just launched Skims, which is a shapewear line, which I love. You know, she's inclusive. She's, you know, doing it for different shades of skin color and different sizing. And she's created this shapewear where one side is to the crotch and the other side of the shape was to the knee. And this is for the slit. Okay, the slit. So when. When somebody as powerful as her comes out with shapewear like that, it means more people are going to start doing slits. Okay. So we're seeing tons of skirts with slits, dresses with slits. But most importantly, these skirts with slits are all over the place. All of these have slits. Even these boho ones, there's a slit. The little tighter, more fitted, There's a slit. So slits are in and you can buy your shape. We're also now to accommodate the sled. They come in mostly silks and satins. There's a few that are cotton, some pleather ones. I'm liking the midi ones that are more to the knee or the calf. Okay. But I suggest. And you guys know fashion, there was a reason why you own boutique. So I don't need to tell you, but put it. Dress it down with a band tee or a vintage tee, you know, T shirt look. I love Daydreamer. For that Daydreamer project, Women's, we have a few great brands with vintage band tee sort of looks and with a jean jacket or a leather jacket over. But you can also dress it up. Bodysuit, leather jacket with a boot and a heel. So invest in those skirts with slits. And again, I'll leave those up here. So the turtleneck, there's different Types of turtlenecks. The nostalgia looks are still happening. We moved on from the 90s. We went to the 80s, and now we're definitely in the 70s and 60s. And people are wearing tight, fitted turtlenecks under T shirts as a layering piece. As a turtleneck bodysuit, they're also doing it still in the knits and sweaters and wearing it a little bit more chunky. I personally love a good, like, 90s mom white turtleneck with a more boyfriend jean, a belt, and then throwing on a heel. You know, your girl, take it for what it is. But definitely think about turtlenecks. We had Bella and Delilah yesterday at the social house, Lisa, Rena's daughters from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And sure enough, one of them comes up with this amazing turtleneck, a fitted blazer, and a jean, and it was so sexy on her. So definitely encourage your girl to pick that up. And we have a lot of immediates right now that are carrying that on the show. Floor. Floor. Thank you, girls. Okay, last but not least, I'm sure you this is on your radar. So many of you in this room are already wearing. It is burnt orange. Okay. Call it what it is. Rust, burnt orange, whatever you think. This is on trend, and we look at trends from every aspect of life. So when it comes to home decor, I'm so sorry if you just painted your walls gray, but gray is moving out now, and the beiges and browns are coming back. So we've been on. I know. I'm so sorry. It's still fine. It's fine. But what's happening is gray had its moment. It moved across the world, and now we're going to beiges, neutrals, browns, rust. With that, it also goes into fashion. And the girls all over fashion Week, you'll see they'll all be matching in their outfits with different shades of this rust and beige. So it's all over the Runway. It comes in corduroy, silks. Anything you need, pick up this color. Okay? This is everywhere. I love it. It's the color on my toenails, so it's important. That is my quick overview of my top trends. We pretty much cover them all here. There's a few. You still have puppy docs. It's really important. That's why I'm wearing it tonight. The color of the year, classic blue. It's all about, you know, last year was flat fiesta red. We're now in the movement of crystals and healing in the universe. So we're going on more calming colors. So look for some classic blue statement pieces to add in. Whether it's accessories or color blocking a pop of color in the outfit, we want to encourage that with our girls because they're going to see it all over their social media feed with the influencers they follow. No more Mandalay Bay. We will be back on our traditional dates and we really encourage you to come back. We're putting a lot of, you know, we're putting a lot of dollars into our speakers into our education. So you can come here and not only do your buying, but get great education, see amazing celebrities, have great networking events. So thank you.
