We're live. Hello.
Good morning, everyone.
Hello. My name is Ashley Alders. And I'm Sarah Burks.
We're so professional this morning. We are so excited, you guys, because it is planner time. And, man, this is, like, this has been a labor of love for what has it been, three years, four years?
Yeah. It was an idea that kind of came about. We talked it over a little bit. Like, you know what would be really cool? And here it is.
Oh, my gosh. I can't even believe it. So we're so excited that you guys are joining us today, because we are just about to launch our 2021 planner on Monday, and next week is Planner week. So every single day next week, we're going to be live on all of our channels with planning tips, productivity tips, inventory management and tracking tips, all kinds of things. And you're going to get first dibs on the planner and not just the Planner. But this year, we did something totally different. Yeah. We're launching a complete paper product line with the Planner that is specifically for product makers, boutiques, artists. I mean, really, it's something that I feel like is universal to lots of small businesses, not just boutiques and retailers. Right. Yeah.
We were just having this conversation. And so if you're listening today and you own a hair salon or. Yes, you're in. You're an artist, or you have anything with customers, really.
Inventory.
Anything with customers and inventory and sales. These products are for you. So we have. We've kind of designed it with the overall entrepreneurial business owner in mind. Yeah. Yeah.
All right.
So we've made a lot of changes. It's very exciting. Oh, we have a lot to talk about.
So give us a thumbs up in the comments if you're excited to see. We'll start with the planner. We'll do the planner reveal first, and then we'll show you what else we have.
Absolutely.
Right.
Absolutely.
I don't think this one is. Is this not working? Hang on one second. Ooh, Live, Live. There we go. All right. We're jumping on our Instagram on Boutique Boss Planner, too. There we go.
That looks right. Hello, Instagram world.
Hello, Instagram. Okay, so let's start, you guys. We want to show you. You've seen probably a couple pictures, a couple sneak peeks, but we're going to.
Show you the 2021 Planner, and it's a hardcover.
It's our very first hardcover. Oh, man.
We heard you. You all said it. You all said, can you make it a hardcover? Yes, hardcover. It is a hardcover.
And hardback and plastic tabs. So we were such. I feel like everything we've done at the Hub, we kind of just like had an idea and ran with it and people were like, that's crazy. Just like the first year we made a planner, it was basically like a notebook with plastic spiraling. We did what we thought we could do. It wasn't like a beauty like this one is, but it served its purpose. So we're so excited to move up and.
Well, we always say, right, you know, like fail forward. And so, I mean, in all honesty, when we look back at those first two planners, they weren't a failure, but we dang sure had some improvements to make. Right. So we have. But we also tell everybody in business. And for those of you, we're sorry the Instagram didn't start right away, but we were saying how all these products or for are for anybody in retail, anybody with customers and inventory. So it's not just speaking to boutique owners, but that whole idea in mind is getting your product out there. Don't wait until it's perfect, guys. Because if we would have waited till 2020 for this planner to launch for 2021, y' all would have missed out on all the awesome stuff that the last two planners did have. Yeah, it had things that we wanted to improve, but you know what? It was, it was still a really good product. Yeah.
People need your product. So lesson, let it be a lesson to launch it to the world and then iterate as you go. And I'm sorry. Glad.
Absolutely. 100%.
So let's talk about some new things. We'll hit on three things that are brand new for the planner this year, and then we're going to walk through a couple of pieces on how to use the Planner. But we have some other exciting things that we're going to be showing you. So please don't jump off the line because we have a lot to talk about. All right, so first things first. Hardcover, we talked about it, is not a plastic binding. It's an actual metal spiral binding here. And then we've got the little holder here. Yes.
Can we get some love for the hard cover, the spiral binding, and our inline tabs, too? What do we call this? The holder. I don't know, man. But guys, we heard your voice and we, we asked numerous times throughout the year and every time we would hear about the binding, the hard cover, and this little rubber keeper or this elastic keeper. So there we are. You ask and we answer. And yeah, we keep your thoughts and needs in mind and this is a solution, right? Like, the whole. The whole idea behind it was to be in the know and be ready and be reminded and have a solution to your problems. And so there you go.
Bookmark.
Yay.
Elastic closure. You guys, you guys are marketing geniuses. Okay, second change that we're really excited about is, you guys know I'm big on the four part to do list and time blocking. And so you wanted hourly layouts on your days rather than just like a blank layout of the day. And I totally agree with that. So welcome to your new day layout this year, if you guys can see this. So something we talk an awful lot about is only choosing your three biggest rocks for the day so that you know what you accomplish at the end of the day. And you leave the end of the day with a positive mindset feeling like, I actually did something versus what did I do today? Because I chased this, like, never ending to do list. So three biggest rocks are on the top of the day. And then it just lays out where you can put in your hours. The hours are not put on here for you. You write the hour in, but it's broken down by line so you can put that in. And then notes to remember on the bottom. And then look at, I flipped to a Sarah Burke's quote page. There's little inspirational quotes and things to remember. This one says, no one else would work for free, so why should you pay yourself today?
Yes. And that is our ultimate goal, right. In business is to earn a paycheck to pay yourself.
Right. And then the weekends are broken up. They're split into two right here. They're in a different color. They still have their top three priorities on them. And then, of course, all of the calendar dates like this have all of your social media reminders, events that are happening.
Yes.
Trade shows that are happening, all of that and reminders.
One of the things in retail that I would always get behind 8 ball on is all of a sudden I remember, oh, my gosh, it is, you know, fourth of July coming up in a week. Well, we remind you of some of these promotions month in advance. So you can get your products ordered, you can get your schedule laid out properly. You can start those promotions. So instead of just, oh, today's Fourth of July. No, a month prior, we're going to remind you of these things. So you are in the know. Yes.
All right. The third big change that's happening this year is. This is a big book.
Right. This is a.
This is a big planner and something that this planner has that no other planner has that we have ever found for businesses has a full resource section. So this is like a little training course inside of the planner. So everything from the four part to do list, which we're going to talk more about in terms of tracking your productivity, retail, math, basics.
Yeah. That is one thing that a lot of times you're going to ask. I get questions all the time in the hub. How do I figure my turn rate or how do I figure myself through or any of these types of things. How do I figure my profit? Well, we put those formulas in here for you so you can quick reference, right? Yeah. And not only are they in the resource section, we've added them onto those, the tracking sheets for you. But we're trying to put everything in one spot so it's easy for you to use.
Yeah. So rather than these used to be laid out at the beginning of the months, now they're all in one resource section. And there's a resource like one of these tabs is really resources so you can flip to it. There's everything from again your content, calendar, social media, holiday planning. But the even better than this change is there's things that we wanted to put in here that we couldn't fit in here, so. And there's tracking sheets that we wanted to fit in here that we couldn't fit in here. Or Jesse Jarvis would have like killed.
All you guys know as hub members. And for you listening that you know, have ever listened to Ashley and I do any training, we really like to go above and beyond. When we say we're gonna go live for five minutes, that actually turns into a four, 45 minute live. We say we're giving you five tips. A lot of times it turns into 25 tips.
Yes.
Well, that's the planner.
Right.
And, and Jesse kind of said timeout, nobody's going to be able to buy a ten pound planner. So girls, we got to figure this out. So we created something a little unique along with the planner.
Yes. And I was gonna just give you a view of this tracking sheet too because this is what we're talking about. There's a lot of this stuff in here. So what we did is everybody who buys a boutique boss planner this year gets a complete digital download that comes with it. I know a lot of you were asking about a digital version of the planner. It's not the entire planner, but it's a whole bunch of the tracking sheets. So if you're someone who maybe wants to print it out and print a couple copies and just like make it messy in your tracking and then put your like final numbers inside the planner. That is something for you. That's definitely me. I Write like a 12 year old boy. So whatever it is, it's messy. So I wanted to be able to print it out, script scribble on my desk, refigure my math and then transpose the final numbers into the planner.
So yeah, and there's a lot of other tracking sheets that aren't in this planner that are digital. So one of the things is, you know, tax deductions and travel and all these kind of things where you can map these mileage tracking out. We've made those in a million more. Not, I shouldn't say a million, that's an exaggeration. But a lot of other tracking sheets in the digital download for you that just sit simply don't fit here. However, the data that you'll use on those digital sheets, you'll bring back and put into this planner. Yeah, yeah, I love it.
All right, you guys, so let's do this. So those are three big things that are new. We want to give you the layout of what the planner looks like on the inside, answer some common questions about the planner, and then again, we have other things that we want to show you and some things about your friend Karen who orders on Amazon. We've got to show you this stuff. But first, planner details. So when you open up the planner, first thing you see is the Boutique Boss Manifesto which is near and dear to all of our hearts because, because this is who we are, this is why we do what we do. This is your mission every single day, front and center for you. Section number one is all of your goals and tracking. So we feel like it's really important at the beginning of the year, before you set any goals, to do a full self assessment of where you are, where you were in the last year, what worked, what didn't work. And so that's how we open up. Our goal tracking sheet is with our self assessments.
And we thoroughly believe that if you write it down, that is putting it into existence, you are going to own that. When you write that down, whenever you get this planner and you look back at it three months, six months, nine months into the future, gives you an idea, where are we at? How are we doing?
Right.
It puts that into existence. If you just tell it to yourself in your head, it doesn't count. We got to get it on paper so we can own it. Yes.
So this is again more things about what happened. What were your numbers last Year. What's your why in business? What are the fears that you have and why are they false? It goes everything from business to personal and everything in between, including our goal setting pages, which are broken down by staff goals, spiritual goals, health and wellness, family and relationship marketing, business, inventory, and financials. A place for all of your goals in this section. Oh, Sarah, talk about this. This is your yearly comparison sheet.
You know, the reason why I think this is so important is because when we first started devising this, this is something that reminded me of. I used to carry this band or binder around to markets and I would be at market trying to make the best investment decisions in inventory possible. And I was, the first few years I went, I was just pulling numbers out of my head or, oh, I'm pretty sure I did this. And when I got really serious about the business, I started carrying this binder around that had all these data points with me. Well, guys, that binder was really ugly. And actually it was one my two child used in second grade that still had her coloring on it. And anyway, I decided when we're making this planner, we want all that stuff right there. So I urge you, I want to see you guys carrying this around with you at markets, and I want to urge you to, you know, have this as a resource. So when you are sitting there saying, do I invest with that vendor or do I invest more in jeans? You're pulling this out and saying, nope, all my data says stay away. Or actually, this is my first appointment I need to make and I need to go to. So this is a great place for you to, to look at your best selling and your lowest selling classifications, your vendors, you know, what is your ROI by these vendors? Get it on paper, not just in here. Because you guys will make assumptions and you know, we'll guess and we'll guess wrong.
Margaritas later.
Two margaritas later. And those wrong decisions can be tens of thousands of dollars in our business. Yep.
So there's complete yearly tracking, monthly tracking, inventory by category, vendor, all of those things. Then the other thing that we talk a lot about tracking is not just inventory, but what's our traffic growth on social media and on our website. So these sheets go into tracking all of those pieces from Pinterest to your web, email, Facebook, Facebook group, Instagram, they're all broken down by channel, if you guys can see that. And then you can track that every single month of the year so you know what's actually growing. And you can assign notes as to why it's growing.
And for Those of you that might be sitting there thinking, when would I possibly have time to fill this out? Guys, this is one of those things that you, we urge you to have a date with your numbers, make time and that right there. Especially those social media tracking. Yeah, that's a great thing to have your, your intern do or your manager do so he or she knows what we're dealing with. Right. And they can celebrate those growth wins and they can see how important the decisions you make are.
Right.
So this is, this is a great opportunity to get your whole team involved.
Yeah, that's. And that's really what a lot of people do. They've done the last couple of years is the boutique owner themselves or the maker will buy this. But then if you have a manager or staff, they will buy additional for managers and staff. So every week when you sit down for your team meeting, you're playing off the same sheet of music, working on this together.
Absolutely.
And yeah, to answer your guys's questions. I see them. So orders for the planner and all the products, which we're going to show you in just a second, go live on Monday. It is a pre order. You guys know what it's like to order products. It's. All of the planners are on a palette stick stuck at the Canadian border currently. So we're doing a pre order so that we can ship them to you as soon as they land in about two weeks is what we're estimating. So we'll get them spoken for in your hands for sure.
That expense sheet is new. Oh yeah, let's get that.
This is brand new this year is the expense sheet.
Absolutely. So, and you'll have more detailed version of this in the digital download. And this is what I was saying, this will be a great place. You take those digital downloads and bring the, the overall numbers back here. But guys, some of those expenses are major expenses that you will forget about throughout your year. And all of a sudden your accountant will say, what about this? Or what about that? And you're saying, oh shoot, I forgot to track those things. So this is a great opportunity for you to stay in the know about all of those things. So we hate being blindsided. And that is one of the biggest things here in the Hub, all about education and helping you stay ahead of the game. Yeah. So that's what the planner explains sheet is really designed to do. I love it.
All right, the other cool thing that this planner has that we know that no other planner on the face of the planet has, is very specific checklists, annual Checklists, quarterly checklists, monthly checklists, and weekly checklists just for the small business owner in mind. So at the very beginning of this tracking sheet, we jump into the annual checklist and things that we want you to remember and things that you can add in there that are specific to you and your business. Absolutely.
And again, I just want to say for all of you that are listening today that are not boutique owners, this is still a great resource for you. No matter if you own a home and gift shop or a salon or you're an artisan, if you have customers and you have inventory and you're in retail of any sort, any of those things, this is a great resource for you. Yep.
Couple. Just to answer a couple of your questions that I see coming in, the planner is the same price as it always has been. It's 50, 54.99. It's 55 bucks. Again, we're going to show you some other cute products that are coming. And there's actually a bundle package that's coming this year that's brand new. What other question did I just see? Is there a tutorial step by step on filling these out? Yes, there is one currently on our YouTube channel from last year's planner. But if you could see the video camera over my head, we're actually filming a tutorial today so that you guys can get. Get that on our YouTube channel as well.
And in all the planner sheet, or in all the. All the sheets on the tracking, in the planner itself, there is an instruction and an example on how to get that data, where you would need to go to get that information. However, if you don't input the information from the beginning into a system, you won't have the data to track. So that gets me on a soapbox about making sure you're inputting your data. Yes. So you have data to pull.
Yes. Yeah, that's probably the number one question. It is.
It is. The one number one question I get on these tracking sheets is where would I get that information from? And if you're not inputting purchase orders and if you're not running sales through a system and documenting discounts and all of those things, then you probably don't have the numbers to put in here Yet. Yet. The keyword is yet. But we will talk you through a system to make sure you are getting all that information correctly.
Yeah, it all goes back to the process of only attract a number of girls. Like, what you want to grow, you have to measure. And that's really the purpose behind all of this. Absolutely. All right, so the next section after goal tracking is the resources section which we talked a little bit about and I just want to highlight there's things from us in here from our team. So this is a strategy on overcoming the J months. But then we partnered with again people who we feel like are experts in the field. So here's a sheet from Christine Gray that's all about knowing your numbers and she breaks it down into novice, intermediate and advanced. And tips for you to understand more of the financial tracking in your business. And there's Comet Sold has tips in here on live selling. Angela with Hot Mess is in here. We even have if you're going to market, WWD Magic Atlanta, Dallas. There's tips on going to market and also all the market dates and information you need to know about going to trade shows.
Absolutely.
All right, should we look at a month layout? Sure. All right, so let's look at January. When you get into January, you're going to go into the January business checklist. It's going to lay out everything you need to know and then notes on how you want to grow different parts of your business that that month. So social media notes, graphics and marketing notes, staff notes, market trips, live sale notes, events that I want to host.
And for those of you that have the last two years planners, this is imperative I really ask that you go back, look, open those planners up and look at those notes from January of last year and hopefully in there you fill that out and those are as you had a like a total of the month. You said these are things I want to watch out for next year. These are things I want to do I did really well. Or these are things I didn't do very well at, or these are employees that were amazing. These are employees that I really had to reprimand all those things. Bring those over to this year's planner so you don't make the same mistakes.
Yes, a couple questions. I know the text is probably showing backwards to you guys, but yeah, you can get this and you can be on our email list. So you get an alert on Monday when this goes live. It will launch to retail bootcamp students first. I know a lot of you are boot campers that are watching and then those of you who are Boutique Awards winners, you guys know you already get a planner which is really exciting. But go to BoutiqueBossPlanner.com and we have a sign up list. So you get an alert on Monday as soon as this hits our website. Alright, next page in the monthly layout and if you guys are in the holiday marketing masterclass right now. I talk a lot about just like a basic month layout and how important this is to our strategy of working our marketing content backwards. So we have more marketing calendars and content calendars than I could shake a stick at giving you ideas and prompts every single day. You can take that and put it into this monthly layout and check on it every single day. Yes. All right, Next page in the monthly layout is just our January specific numbers. So if you want to break it down by day of the month, what you sold that month, and then I know this is something you talk about is what was the weather that day or was it an election day that could impact things.
Absolutely.
All the things that could impact your sales. Take a note. So that next year you know what happened and why it happened 100%.
Again, our minds are going to make assumptions when we are 365 days, you know, looking back. But if you have it wrote down, if you have those key measurements wrote down, you'll be able to make better investment decisions. And that is so important because again, when we talk in terms of inventory or staffing, those small mistakes that we make or we forget about or these assumptions we make can cost us so much money and it can set us up to fail for the entire year. So, yeah, when I, when we created that sheet, that is just basically great checklist. But the other thing I like to use that for is when you do go back to reconcile your credit card statement, your bank statements, it's all right there. It's all right there. And honestly, once you look and see how many, how much money you're actually paying in credit card fees that time, you want to maybe ask your, your manager or somebody to, you know, take an inventory or reassess your merchant service account. And how you, if you are with the most affordable. When you see those numbers actually written down, that's a big eye opener. So it gives you that ammo to say, okay, I do need to reassess these type of things. But knowing your numbers, it's all about that. Yes.
Oh, Sarah, I'm almost cutting you off on that camera. All right, next page is just our daily layout, which we showed you guys just a minute ago, which is brand new. And then we wrap up the month with how did the month go? Right. So here's your actual tracking that highlights all the details from the month. Then you can talk about what is this month's biggest surprise, what new arrivals are coming, what happened in your business that affected sales again, more Numbers to help wrap up your month.
And, guys, one thing I'd say about these two conclusion sheets, honestly, those are great things for team meetings. When you have your meetings, get this out and say, all right, guys, you know, I need your help. This is where we're at right now as we set our goals going forward. What do we want to be focusing on? Or, you know, Susie, what are those things that, you know, you were winning at this month? How do you want to continue that? Or, Susie, what do you need to be working on this month? Yep, those are great conversation pieces for team meetings.
Love it. All right, if you guys have more questions, we'll come back and answer them about the planner, but can we show you the rest of this stuff here? Scoot over this way, Sarah. We have a lot more things to show you. Okay, so planner, also, all planners, there's gonna be a little freebie. We've got cute, cute little boutique boss pens. Dream it right it do it. These are pink and gray that are going to be a part of this lunch as well. But let's do these things first.
Okay.
We're gonna save the most exciting pieces for last because you've never seen these before.
Don't leave this video.
Okay, Next thing is notebooks, right? So a while ago, I did a little sneak peek by accident on my Instagram channel and got reprimanded for it. So here I am with the real version versions to show you. We narrowed it down to three notebooks that go along with your planner, Jesse Jarvis. These are 13. Please correct me if I'm wrong. They're going to be available on Monday. Three options to choose from in notebooks that again, have the little elastic bookmark. They have the actual wire spiral binding, but there's these to see. So, boss, Boss, Boss. This is an actual leather embossed cover. So this is leather in like, so luxurious.
Yes, so luxurious. Very nice.
This one, which is my son's favorite because he loves profanity, apparently.
Well, little boy doesn't, right?
I'm such a good mom.
Oh, man, I'm a badass boss who gets keeping it done right.
And it has the little ribbon bookmark inside of it as well, you guys. And then this one is. This is probably my favorite one. No, Karen, I didn't get this on Amazon.
And it also has the little elastic keeper and a little ribbon. Yes. No, Karen, I did not get that on it.
So there's three notebook options to choose from, you guys. And then let's talk about the really exciting stuff.
Yes.
First things first is again, you wanted more information on time blocking productivity. The four part to do list. We did include a sample four part to do list page inside of the planner this year. But we were like, this is how my mind operates anyway. I like to use my planner, but again, I Write like a 12 year old boy so I want the planner to look nice. So I have tear off sheets on my desk all the time. So we built the four part to do list into an actual tear off. This is just a prototype, so this is tearing on the side, but it's usually a top tear, but it breaks down. What's my every week list? What is my this week list? What can I outsource? And what's my later list? So every week you can really get strategic about attacking the biggest rocks in your business and not just going down this to do list of never ending crap, which we all have.
And again, it gives you something to celebrate 100%. Celebrate. You need to make sure you're celebrating your little wins and checking things off, man, that's a big reason to celebrate. That is for sure. Yes.
Okay, next thing you want to show the next one.
Sure. The great vibes list.
Yes.
Yeah. So this is just another thing today. Today's date and today I am grateful for goals crushed today. Yeah. People who you help today and a plan for tomorrow. Yeah, Guys, this is a good way to just, you know, look at your overall day, celebrate your wins and acknowledge the things that you are doing and people who you've helped. Man, that is just one of those things to say, oh yeah, I helped people. But if you can actually put names that, yeah, what a powerful thing that is for you going forward. Right.
We talk a lot about living in gratitude every day and about how gratitude changes things. Right. You can't be living in gratitude in a state of fear and anxiety at the same time. Your brain just simply does not work that way. So the more we ground ourselves in being grateful and looking at the change we actually did make, I think it really raises how important our why is over. Just the numbers, right? You may have had a number day that wasn't stellar, but when you really reflect on who did you help today, today, and did I live in my greatest purpose today? That is why we're in business in the first place.
And I'm really excited to say there's a lot of sheets in here. These notebooks, these little tear offs are $10 and under.
They're $10.
Yeah.
And this is.
You get a lot of it.
You get. That's Crazy.
Yep. So.
All right. Grateful vibes. I'll let you guys see that close up. All right. And then the last one is Sarah's brainchild. You're gonna freaking love this, you guys. This is so good.
This is one of those things that we started at the store when. When I had my store, and we would celebrate the wins of our employees, right? And we would. The way we designed it was if somebody was bragging on them, you know, we filled out one of these little sheets and we stuck it to, you know, the back room and in the. When they came and filled out their time card, and we could celebrate it and say, to Ashley from Sarah. And then actually, I would say, whoever the customer was, it was bragging on you. The date and the time. Yeah, it could be from me as the owner, but a lot of times what we would do, too, is, you know, say I was downtown it. We talked about quick trip all the time. Say I was at Quik Trip, standing in line. One of my customers would say, hey, Lizzie was amazing yesterday in the store. She helped me do this, this, and this. Well, right there, instead of me just saying, oh, awesome, thanks for telling me. I would tell the customer, customer, thank you. But then I come back, and I'd fill out one of these sheets for Lizzy, and. And I'd say, lizzie, from Ashley. This date, this time, you nailed it. You gave it your all. Da, da, da, da. And I'd tell her why, And I'd say, somebody was bragging about you, Lizzie. That is awesome. And I would make sure everybody on our team knew it, because I'd rip this off after I filled it out, put it on our back wall for everybody to see. I even took it a little bit further. And if you. Every one of these you got for the month, I added $5 to that, to that girl's paycheck. It's not a ton, but guys, I mean, when they start adding up 10 and 15 of these a month, that's a big deal. How, however, me knowing that they went above and beyond and they killed it, and they made this happen, and they just went, you know, did those undeserving, unnecessary, you know, things with our customers. That was way worth more than $5 to me as the business owner. So you have a ton of these in here too. Yeah. And this is just a really fun way to celebrate your customer or your staff and, you know, just make it. Make it worthwhile, especially, you know, going into Q4 here.
Oh, my gosh.
It's gonna get busy.
Busy. Tori is Saying, my kids are my employees.
They need these.
Honestly, you could use these for your kids. I want to read you a couple of things that are on here. So it says kudos, and then again, you're filling it out, but you nailed it. You gave it your all. You look good trying, which, I mean, that could be a right. You rock. You still got it. You made us all look good. You crushed it. You got lucky. You held your own. You surprised us all. You got us. You. You bossed up. You made it happen. You said no. You took one for the team.
And.
And by the way, and then you can write a personal note down on the bottom.
Can I just say, one of my favorite things right there is you said no. How many of us can't say no. You know, I mean, sometimes we get so overwhelmed, we're like, yeah, okay, totally, we're going to do that. I don't know when that's fitting into my schedule, but yeah, we're going to do it. Sometimes we have to celebrate the fact that you just said, no, I'm not going to be able to do that today. Yeah.
Oh, my gosh. All right, so give us a thumbs up if you guys are as excited as we are. So Monday morning, BoutiqueBosStore. These all launched and we will be live all week showing you how to use them, answering your questions, giving you tips. But now we want to answer some of your questions because I see there's like a gazillion comments. So we want to answer your questions, but thank you for making this possible. Thank you guys. Those of you who are here that purchased the very first planner. We did, which was a six month only planner, because we decided in the middle of the year to make a planner. Yeah.
You can almost fold it in half. It was.
Yeah.
Not a hardcover cover.
Oh, man.
But it was a start.
Yeah, started.
It's still a great product.
Yeah, absolutely.
This is just better.
It's just so much better now. Oh, go. All right, so let's answer some of your questions. I just saw one that said, is this primarily for brick and mortars? No, no, this is for. Again, it's more than even just boutiques.
Yeah.
So online, mobile, pop up, whatever. You're a product maker, you're a salon. There may be a small business in your town that this can really help because there's truthfully, there's not another planner that does this for small businesses. We've bought every planner under the sun, wondering if someone's already done this. Like, surely someone's done this. And no one's done this. So we're really excited about this and how specific it is to all of our community.
Yeah. And I think one thing we've said in the past, and I'll say it again this year, that hasn't changed. This is a resource. It's a tool. It is a business tool. So it doesn't matter what type of business you have. In all honesty, it's a tool that can be very effective for your business. Again, we are alerting you of checklists and things that you need to be making sure you're doing in your store. Because one of the things that happened to me all the time when I had the store was, again, I would get busy doing things, and all of a sudden I would realize, quarterly sales tax. You know, quarterly quarterly taxes, team huddles. I need to have these team reviews. Oh, my gosh. I did not change the discount on my sales receipt. And it's still saying my December discount and now or return policy. Those things. We have those reminders in here for you. So it doesn't matter if you are brick and mortar or online or combination of both, There is strategies and systems that are relevant to everybody. Yes. It doesn't matter if you're wholesale versus retail.
No. We have a lot of wholesalers that use a lot of planners. Your guys's comments are giving me life. April, I feel your excitement.
I love it.
The Seaport Suite Sweetheart Designs. If having more than two planners is wrong, I don't want to be right. Best comment of the day. Oh, my gosh. Okay, what other questions do you guys have? As I'm scrolling, no more scraps of paper all over your desk. A to the men. Will the four part to do list be available for purchase throughout the year if we run out? Yes.
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
You'll be able to restock those anytime, Kim. Thank you. You are so sweet. What other questions am I seeing? You know what can you talk about? This isn't just like you guys see us on video, and that might be whether it's here or in bootcamp or anywhere else, there's an entire team at the Hub that made this possible. This is. Can you like Jesse Jarvis? I know you're watching. If you guys know Jessie, this is also her baby. This is her labor of love, Jesse and Sarah. But to talk about all the team that does work on this, because it's huge.
Well, here's the thing. Like, yeah, when. When this idea came about, you know, it was started out in a combination or a conversation, but then all of a sudden, when we started talking to our entire team, who come from. With a little bit different background, everybody's needs and wants when it came to.
A planner are in here.
You know, I could come up with those planner sheets or those. Those tracking sheets, but you guys, they'd be on a spreadsheet. They would be boring.
Right.
Jessie is an artist and she made this very attractive, very user friendly. The layout, the way her mind works was. Is. Is different than mine. Right. And when she said, okay, this is how we need to lead you from here to there in an efficient manner with. With grant branding and pretty graphics and all these kind of things, that's her wheelhouse for sure. And Carrie, who printed it and. Or put it up, laid it all out and did all the designs and gosh, Shannon, all the teamwork and everything at Kate, everybody was involved in this for sure.
Yep.
But then just. I don't want to. I don't want to leave out everybody on the it side of it as far as getting all the landing pages and all that stuff. So you guys can have your question.
Andrew. All of them.
Absolutely. So when you do have a question, you can go to a site and the information is there. Guys, if it was up to me, you'd have to write me a letter or come find me at the horse barn to ask me to, you know, if I don't have my phone on me. But they make this all right there for you.
Yes. Oh, my goodness. Susie, I think your question got answered. If you're a Boutique award winner, you should have a promo code in your email to redeem your planner. Gosh. Yes. This does everything except make the coffee for you. Robin, that's the best comment. Thank you for that.
Oh, I was just gonna go back to the way this page is laid out with Christine Gray. She inputs some information here. There is a lot of things here. I don't care if you're a beginner. You're in. You know, you're the novice, the intermediate or the advanced retailer or business owner. There's things in here for absolutely everybody. And you can take this to the level of where your business is at.
Yeah, right.
So it really is an overall product for everyone.
I'm so excited. All right, you're still asking a question, so you can sign up for updates. It's Boutique Boss planner dot com. And it launches Monday morning. So if you want to get any and all of these things, again, something that we're doing also that's brand new is you can get all these things individually or we made a bundle this year. So inside of the bundle you get the four part to do list, you get grateful vibes, you get kudos. You specifically get the leather. Boss, Boss, boss. This is the only notebook that's going in the bundle because I mean Shopify and you get the boutique boss planner. And I think there's a pen and the digital download for the planner with extra tracking sheets. And so all of that, we put a discount on it and it's 85.99. So it's about like 12 bucks off, something like that. If you guys are going to do the bundle as well, there was a.
Bird that just hit the window. They want the bundle. So something else I want to tell you about. So we do have these resources in the resource guide with a number of different people that are dropping information and trainings and things. But also we have some awesome discounts in here. Yeah. From Accelerated America, Office Depot, because there, that is up to 55% off. Dell Technologies. That's over. That's 40% off. And let's see, there is moo.com 20% off every order@moo.com this, you guys, that right there. Those savings in alone more than pay for that bundle. For sure. Love it.
When does the planner ship? I'm seeing a couple more questions. When's the planner ship? As soon as it hits our warehouse, which is, we're hoping in a couple of weeks here. So you can pre order it on Monday. We will alert you as soon as it's here and we will turn it and ship it right away. We've got all. I guess these are all coming in this week so they will be on hand. You guys know if you're in the Hub, my feelings on pre orders, they make me want to vomit, as does Jesse Jarvis want to vomit. But we've got to get them in your hands. You have to know that it's coming, coming so you can plan. And when they get in your hands, we will go through them step by step with you so you can have it in front of you and we'll do some training. You guys know at the Hub we do monthly themes of content. Right now we're in the month of October and holiday content prepping you. The month of November theme is all about productivity and planning and starting to pre plan all of 2021. So for the next month, you're going to hear us talk a lot about planning and celebrating the end of 2020 simultaneously.
Yeah. So those of you that are still using the 2020 planner, please please continue to document everything all the way October, November through the end of the year. So then your planner 21 can start right away in January.
Absolutely. Okay. Other quick questions. You guys with your nice comments. I thank you for that. That fills our cups for sure. Appreciate it.
Yes, yes. And again, we just want to say we heard your voice over the last year and the last two planners that we did and so many improvements on this one. And, you know, we just want to continue to solve your needs.
Right.
The problems that you guys are having and the issues you are seeing. And we want to make sure we're including those things and offering you a product that serves everything.
