Boutique Merchandising Tips featuring SVM Boutique | Nashville Boutique

Short video walkthrough by Sarah (Ashley Alderson channel) touring SVM Boutique in Nashville, Tennessee and offering merchandising tips. This chunk covers the store entrance, how the door and a roller cart direct customer flow, and an introductory table display that uses varied heights and colors to attract attention.
Hey, guys, it's Sarah. I am here at SVM Boutique here in Nashville, Tennessee, and I wanted to show you a little bit of merchandising tips here. When you enter into their store, I think what they have done is absolute genius. So stick with me. I'm gonna take you on a little tour. Okay.
So you'll notice when I come in, the door swings open here, and it immediately directs me right here. So there's this little roller cart. It does make me kind of stop in my path. And as I turn, I am immediately introduced to a table display. The table display is using different heights. It draws in a lot of different colors, a lot of different mediums.
Here.
Some bags on the floor brings you up to the height of the hat added onto the body form, which I think is just really. It helps the eye move along. And then, of course, all of the colors go together, bringing in some of their featured items, moving along to a continual color palettes along the walls. Just a few different merchandising techniques. But you'll notice how I was manipulated from the time I came in the door. And I don't use manipulated as a bad thing. But I came here, I had to stop. There was a roller rack, so I was able to see here. And my immediate turn back over here to the right into a table, which I can look at, appreciate from a distance, and it automatically just draws me closer to it. And then as I continued to turn, you can see things up along the wall. They've utilized different spaces with shelving as well as rolling body forms and mannequins. Just kind of taking a little bit more of a tour. I like how they've dressed up their mannequins in the window crossbody bags. And then I always say it's hard to get a customer to turn to the left. So they've done this super cute little Instagramable wall over here in Nashville. Why would you not have a ton of album covers? So that's a super cool area to take some photos and things as well. And then, of course, disregard the boxes because they're moving some things around right now, but then into a little bit of a home display area. Another Instagram little moment over here. Over to their Nash Gray collection. My video, really what I wanted to show you guys is just how a movement people move throughout your store and how tables and mannequins can direct traffic.
