It's been amazing. This is my first summit experience. I've dreamed of this ever since I was 16. And I've always wanted to own a boutique of my own. So I have perfect training, and I've been a sponge here, soaking every bit of it up that I can. And I'm excited to put it all.
To use one day.
There is something for the emotional side, the psychological side of the business, but obviously also things that you can implement into your marketing and your sales and your growth and your knowing your numbers. Like, there was just a little bit of everything.
If you guys haven't been to Summit, I highly recommend it. The teaching is incredible. The food's great, the swag bags, everyone's, like, decked out. So it's so fun. I've met girls from all over the country. We kind of exchange numbers and stay in touch. It's just fun to see how everybody's business is growing.
It's amazing.
We learned so much today. We took so many great notes, and we are so pumped to get home.
And, like, set everything into practice.
Meeting other fellow boutique owners, getting to have someone on one time with the wholesalers. All that is so important to our business as it is growing leaps and bounds. And we've been blessed to get red.
I'm going to cry.
It's been like the whole year has been a blessing for us. 2020 really was a doozy, and we decided to take some lessons from the boutique hub and kick butt and go. And we did.
As a small business, we just started in the middle of the pand. It was great to learn these invaluable resources. It's also very inspirational to hear how people have pivoted and also a lot of practical ideas that we're going to apply to our business. So it's been extremely helpful on how we're going to grow and expand from here.
Content was my thing. Content, like, I create great content, but the consistency part, so just learning the different steps of content, the different types of content and how to market that, that was the greatest thing for me. I was just like, oh, I'm a millionaire already. I'll be a millionaire when I home after this. They better watch out.
Well, it's been amazing.
I just finished the retail boot camp, and this was just the perfect ending of the entire class. And I highly recommend that to anybody. And the summit was out of the world, beyond what I ever expected. And we did the VIP event and it was fabulous. So it was really awesome to be able to hang out with Ashley and Sarah. And meet everyone.
The best part so far, I think, of the Summit, was just the guest speakers in general. There was a lot of things that we learned, a lot of insight.
It's just awesome to be with the community of women that do exactly what you do, share their struggles, their celebrations, and see that you're not the only one that struggles. And it's awesome to watch bigger boutiques talk about their struggles as well and see that you can rise up from those.
So my experience at Summit was amazing. I totally recommend this to every girl that is a boutique owner or a vendor. I say that because I learned so many things that I can implement in my business that I didn't even think think of. And now I'm super excited to go home and try those things out so that I can be a successful business owner.
