Short YouTube discussion (Pink Friday) in which two speakers answer the question "What does shopping small mean to you?" They emphasize supporting local families and entrepreneurs (particularly women), building community loyalty, personal customer relationships (shopkeepers knowing customers by name), and empowering local businesses to provide services and opportunities.

All right, we're asking, what does shopping small mean to you? Shopping small means helping.
Support local families.
And communities, community loyalty and giving back. You get to know everybody. And you know, when I go into a small business, they know my name. That's how I like to treat my customers. I remember, oh, how was that birthday party you just had? And you know that trip that you just took with your girlfriend? Like, did the dress work out? It's that experience that you get that you don't get at the big box stores. Getting to know my community and my neighbors, supporting everyone I love. Shopping small.
To me means supporting other women and other entrepreneurs, and it means supporting their dreams so that hopefully one day when I fulfill my dream, they'll.
Support me as well. Shopping small means coming around your local community and empowering them to do great things. You have local movers, shakers, and hustlers waiting to provide a service to you. All you have to do is reach out and shop small.
