The Boutique Hub | The Voice and HUB of the Boutique Fashion Industry

Ashley Alderson built Boutique Hub to connect independent boutiques, brands, and shoppers. The platform emphasizes that mindset is 80-90% of business success and hosts events like the Boutique Summit to train and unite boutique owners across the industry.

I suck at holding myself accountable. But you guys have each other, right? You guys have a group. Whether you use the entire community at the Hub or just a small part of the Hub, your accountabilibuddies are gonna determine your success or your failure as you go forward.
The Boutique hub is a two sided marketplace that serves the boutique industry. We're the home for consumers who are trying to shop boutiques around the world. And we're also the central connection point and the voice of the industry, whether it's boutiques, brands, designers or fashion.
When I signed up for the Boutique Summit, I did not know what I was getting myself into. I've been a member of the Hub for about four to five months now. Kind of makes me want to cry because if I had not trusted the boutique hub and come to this event, my business would not be what it is today.
What we do with the boutique Hub is it's a two sided marketplace where not only can consumers discover boutiques that they love around the world by style or by location, but the industry itself can actually come together, connect, collaborate, find tools, resources and training. And even events like the business is.
A very emotional journey. We don't always get taught what it takes as a person, as a woman, as a man, as an entrepreneur, what it takes in terms of your headspace, your actual personal growth and development to run a successful business. And we say that mindset is actually 80 or 90% of your success.
I love that it's a group of women who are getting together to inspire each other. Too many times people get torn down when they're in a big group of women. And everything about this whole environment is just about building each other up and sharing ideas and not being afraid for everybody to rise together.
For the Hub, I was kind of feeling like a fish out in the open water. And then with the Hub, I've just had a lot more resources and a lot more community and just networking and building my brand.
This all started because I am originally from North Dakota, which when I was thinking of this idea, literally had probably zero boutiques in the entire state. And as I traveled, I fell in love with boutiques around the world. And I wanted to find a way to bring all of these stores together on one central platform, almost like an online shopping mall boutique, so people in locations like mine could still enjoy shopping online.
Honestly, by the grace of God, that I found the Hub because I reached out to Ashley and I was really at a point where I was like, I have to do something different or I have to close. And I didn't want that. I was sad. I was very sad about that. So I've learned that you have to constantly evolve in social media and you can't get comfortable. You always have to move and do something different.
My experience at the Hub has been very, very informative. I've learned a that I didn't know a lot of things. I'm going to take back with me to my small online boutique and just watch it grow and take everything I've learned and just really put it, put it in action.
None of us are like millionaires and then go start a boutique. Like, that's retroactive. We all started at the bottom and we all hope to get to the.
