How Dealer Identity Protects Your Calls from Spam Labels and Ensures Deliverability

This is a YouTube video titled "How Dealer Identity Protects Your Calls from Spam Labels and Ensures Deliverability" featuring a discussion between Scott and Jake Valley. The content explains how dealer identity services verify businesses and register phone numbers with carriers to prevent calls from being marked as spam, emphasizing compliance and agreements with carriers to improve call trust and remediation processes. The video was created in August 2025.
Okay, everyone out there, this is the fifth and last of the series and we're going to be a little bit selfish with, with this one. We're going to advocate for why, what makes us different and why you should use this. So how does dealer identity ensure your calls reach customers without the spam tag? Jake?
Thanks, Scott. It's really a lot simpler than you think. One of the things that I've tried to highlight throughout these little videos is one of the problems for businesses trying to reach their customers is that the carriers and their partners do not know who owns a phone number. They don't know why you're calling. And that is the bridge that needs to be the. I can't think of the expression. That is what we need to overcome and that is really what we're trying to do do. So then the carriers don't have the resources to do that themselves, which is why working with someone who has the agreements in place to be that bridge is the best thing you could do for your calling reputation. So the first thing that we do is that we verify your business is a legitimate caller. We verify you're a legitimate business, here's why you're calling, and we submit that and register that with the carrier partners so that they do know who you are and why you're calling. And everything we're doing is in total compliance with all the know your customer laws and the other various regulations there are. And that is one of the key things that I would say makes us different is the, the emphasis that we put on making sure that we and you are in compliance with everything that we need to do. We're not just registering phone numbers, we're making sure that these phone numbers are tied down to who the customer thinks is calling, which is one of the big things that, that you need to make sure you're doing if you want to be in compliance. Once we have your identity verified with the carriers, we then register your list of phone numbers under that verified entity with the carriers. And then think of it like a white list. The carriers are going to see, okay, this phone number, this phone call came in, they're gonna see this phone number. They're gonna say, oh yeah, we know who this is. This is ABC Ford. And we're gonna let the call go through because they're calling to make sales and service appointments. And it's really that simple. Once we're registered, you know, we then monitor these phone numbers on a regular basis. If anything does come up as spam, we have a process to remediate those phone numbers on your behalf without you needing to look at it. But really the big piece here is, yeah, there's technology involved, we're integrated with the carriers and such. But the big piece here is the agreements that we have that allow us to, to register on your behalf. And I should mention, in terms of what makes us different, one of the key things that we do and the key things that stipulated in our agreements is that the carriers are not allowed to label you as fraud. After you're registering, the carriers always withhold the right to label you as spam. It's very unlikely with our, with our service and, and I would expect with a lot of other people in the space it should be a lot less common. But we are. The carriers are not allowed to label you as an illegal caller and to block your numbers.
Yeah. So we've gotten involved with the carriers. The agreements make us different and without them we can't tie a number to a business which helps increase the trust with you, with your customers. Right.
Yeah, it's, it's, it's the key thing.
Yeah. And if you don't have these agreements, then all you got is a number swapping solution. Right. You can't remediate a number.
Yeah. There are a lot of folks out there who have a tool to do number checks. You know, we can do number checks. You know, I could tell you whether you're working with us or not. You give me a list of phone numbers, I could tell you which of them are labeled and on which carrier. And you know, there are a lot of people who have a number checker, but a lot of times you see the number checker and then they tell you, hey, you know, it's time to switch out this phone number because that's all they're doing. The agreements to protect you from being labeled as fraud and to limit your spam labels is, is the key part, especially if you're able to remediate the spam labels quickly, which, you know, is the next thing that we do.
Great stuff, Jake. Hey, I hope everyone enjoyed this series. We'll be rolling them out one at a time if you're, if you're missing any of them. You have any questions? Jake, how do people get a hold of you?
Very simple. Jake Valley.com or jake@dealeridentity.com and you can reach out with anything you need.
Yeah, thank you. Thanks Jake. See you.
Have a great day.
