Dotty Scott shows how a VA can handle posting videos across TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. You shoot the video, drop it in a shared Google folder with text and a call-to-action, and the VA publishes it. But you respond to comments yourself to build real relationships.
Ah, so she's actually uploading to TikTok, uploading to LinkedIn, uploading to Facebook, uploading to Instagram, all of that. I create the video and I put it in a shared Google folder with her, and I put whatever text I want in a Word document, and she grabs it and does all of that for me.
Fantastic. So your part of it is to come up with the content idea. Shoot the video and then let your VA know what's the little blurb and call to action. Do you always put a call to action in there?
Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. It just depends on the video.
And I think it's a good idea to mix it up and just do value without always selling.
Right.
Beautiful. All right, good. And you don't have to be the one posting this on social media, but you do want to be the one responding. Or does your social media VA do that for you as well? No, I do all of that myself. Beautiful, which is— that's about building the relationships. It is.
And if someone else is doing that for you, it's not the right relationship that you're building.
