If you are using a cell phone number for your business and you no longer want to give people your cell phone number, you can use a marketing number instead, and no one will ever know your cell phone number. If you're like me and you've been in business for 20 years and that number's been out on the internet for 20 years and it's everywhere out there on the internet, which is a big reason why I didn't want to go this route. It's a lot to get that changed. The other really good reason to use this marketing number is because when someone calls this number, it's automatically put into your GoHighLevel system. So you can record calls, you can get transcripts of those calls, you can attach notes to the customer file, all of that stuff. You have to be using their number in order for that to work. And there's also a bunch of AI things built into GoHighLevel that again, won't work if you're not using their phone number. So there's a few things that you'd be giving up. If you choose to keep the number that you've had for years and years. Now, if you choose to use their marketing number, there's a process to go through to first get a number, and then it has to be A2/P compliant. So you want to make this decision early on and then stick to it because it might take you a week to a month. To actually get this phone number working through the system. If you do choose to use this number, it is the number that goes on your website, in your Google Business Profile, on your social media profiles, everywhere on the internet. You need to use this number instead of whatever you're using now. So the process to add a number We're gonna add a phone number and you come down here and it tells you some numbers that are available. I would choose a number that is in your specific area code. So we've got this filtered to the United States. You can see that GoHighLevel is international, and every time you refresh, you're going to get a new set of numbers. They also have toll-free numbers that you can use in here. And you can see that there is a monthly charge for the numbers depending on what they are. If you want to come down here and filter by capabilities, if you don't want to look at any of the 800 numbers or toll-free numbers, just uncheck that. Here my local area code is 360 and I want to match that to the first part of the number. And I'm gonna apply this filter. So now let's see what comes up. So I've got several to choose from. So you wanna filter to your own local area code, find the number, and again, there'll be a monthly charge for that in addition to whatever you're paying for GoHighLevel.
