Someone got an email at 7:30 PM walking into a movie theater and was fine with it. They like being able to respond when they want, not when someone else demands it. Control over your own schedule matters more than being unreachable.
I was going to see a movie with a friend of mine and I was getting an email right as we were going into the movie theater. Are you okay with getting an email like 7:30 at night? And I said, yeah, I'm okay. I'd rather get an email at 7:30 at night and respond to that as I'm walking into the movies than being, you know, on somebody else's schedule, not having my own time, not having my own freedom, not having my own flexibility.
