Shared hosting from GoDaddy, HostGator, and Bluehost is fundamentally slow and won't improve with optimization. Switch to managed WordPress hosting instead. Better hosting also boosts your search engine rankings.
If you're in shared hosting with GoDaddy or Network Solutions or HostGator, Bluehost, or any of those real popular ones, shared hosting is not fast and it never will be. It doesn't matter what you do to your website, it will never be fast.
So I'm using a local org— a local company. I don't know if that's shared hosting or not. You could ask them.
