This is a YouTube video titled "Video Is Queen Training" (created 2023-01-11) featuring Dotty Scott delivering a promotional/educational monologue about the importance of video in marketing. She explains that video and testimonial content drove a significant portion of her business, distinguishes marketing’s role (to generate the inquiry) from sales (to close it), and highlights SEO, networking and video as key channels. She announces a paid training called “Video is Queen” on February 2 (Groundhog’s Day) at noon Pacific for one hour ($15), describing that it will cover why video matters, provide a template for what to say, and include breakout practice sessions; she gives registration links (videoisqueennow.com and askdotty.com) and invites questions.

The topic is video is queen. If content is king, video is queen. And I am here to tell you one of many reasons as to why that is true. I was going through my contacts and everything I did— not contacts, but my company and my business— and looking back at 2022 and where all of my business came from. I have those numbers almost ready to share, but not quite yet, so I won't go there. But I did realize that when someone calls me and I don't know where they came from, I always ask. And so, and I make notes in my QuickBooks, and I realized last year that a significant percentage of my business came from social media and video and testimonial videos specifically, you know, people will tell me, I called you because one, you show up high on the search results when I'm doing my search, but then I go and I look at your reviews and your testimonials, and I've had people actually tell me, I watched your video and then called you. Now, what video is that? Could be one of the many testimonial videos that I have online. Could be my introduction video. It could be some video I put out on social media. I don't really know, but the bottom line is I don't really care because they called me. And if someone calls me, then I can make the sale. So getting that first step of somebody actually calling you, inquiring about your service, your business, hiring you, any of that kind of stuff, it's the job of your marketing to get that call. It's your job to make that sale. And so in marketing, when we are talking about return on investment and all of that kind of stuff, it's really you and your responsibility to make the sale. It's your marketing's responsibility to get that initial call, inquiry, email, however you're set up. And if you can't make the sale, there's some sales training we can get you into that can get you better at that. But it's your marketing's job to get that call. And what does that mean? Well, for me, most of my marketing is search engine optimization, and it is networking, and it is video. And video is really a game changer. And so that is why I have put together a training called Video is Queen. It is February 2nd, Groundhog's Day, one of my favorite days in the world. So I love Groundhog's Day, and we're gonna do a training that day, and I'm going to basically teach you why video is important. We're gonna go over a template of what to say on a video, and we're gonna have some breakout sessions where you can practice doing a video when it really doesn't count because it's not going anywhere, and, and all of that. And I welcome you to join me that day. It's $15. You can get your ticket at videoisqueennow.com, or you can go to my website, askdotty.com, and there's a button at the top that'll take you right there. It's $15. Once you register, you'll get all the information, and it is February 2nd at noon Pacific time. It will be for 1 hour. So if you're interested, check that out, and I am always here for any questions that you have about using video in your marketing. Have a great evening.
