I have discovered in my business, if it frustrates me, I'm not doing it. That's the bottom line. I'll just find somebody else to do that.
And it's okay to— and we have so many options. So for the people that are struggling, want the help, but thinking, I'm by myself, I can't afford to hire somebody. There are a world of options for you. Like, you can just engage somebody for a specific task. You could get somebody part-time depending on what it is. There are lots of resources like Fiverr, which I'm old enough to remember when everything on Fiverr was actually $5, but we won't discuss. You know, there are resources. You can barter with somebody. Like, there I was very good about blocking the possibilities and not thinking and shutting myself down. Like, nope, I'll wait until I have the money. I'm not going to do it until later when the money's in the bank account, then I'll address it. As opposed to, hmm, this is what I want, this is what I need, what's possible? And then when I started asking myself what's possible, And then looking with— often I would find, I would find the opportunities when I needed a new computer. And I said, because I'm a Mac, I'm like, yeah, when there's $2,000 in my bank account that I'm not doing anything with, then I'll get it. And then the battery stopped working as a laptop, didn't work as a laptop because the battery wouldn't hold the charge. Then it expanded and cracked the trackpad, so I had to use an external mouse. It was like, this is ridiculous. Just moved up on your priority list. It sure did. And then the day it decided it didn't want to turn on anymore because it said, I told you I'm done. I figured it out pretty damn fast and I got a new computer within 2 days. So that so many times that— and I know so many people, nope, it's not possible. I can't. What is possible? You can find the help even before you're ready to hire somebody full-time as an employee.
