Now, throughout this course, you'll use a hands on case study about Technova. And I mentioned this in the intro. They're a fictional software company that we created specifically for this learning experience. And while Technova, it's not real, but the challenges they face, they absolutely are. They're based on patterns that I see across dozens of companies struggling with these same issues. Okay, so Technova, it's a mid sized software company. They've been around for about five years or so. And their primary product is called Tech Taskflow. It's a project management platform. It's designed specifically for creative agencies. Think like marketing agencies, ad firms, design studios. Places where brilliant creative people work. Typically very chaotic environments with impossible deadlines. Now what makes Taskflow different from sort of generic project management tools is that it's built for these creative workflows. Things like managing multiple client projects, handling creative review and approval processes, allocating resources across different skill sets, and tracking billable time, and coordinating multiple campaign launches. Technova, they've found their sweet spot with marketing agencies that have between 10 and 50 employees. The team's big enough to need serious project management, but small enough to want something more nimble than an enterprise type solution. They've got about 3,000 active users, generating half a million in annual recurring revenue. But here's where it gets interesting. Technova's leadership has set an ambitious goal to double their revenue over the next three years. So now they want to get to a million ARR. To do that, they're exploring growth in multiple directions, expanding within their current customer base, moving up market to larger agencies, and even maybe international expansion. But the problem is that they're making these decisions based on like gut feelings instead of real customer insights. Now, Technova, they face the same challenges that many growing companies do. They things like customer churn is higher than they'd like, especially in the critical first 90 days. Users are constantly requesting new features, but nobody really knows which ones actually matter. And support tickets. Well, they reveal confusion about the existing features that seemed obvious to the product team. And while some customers love their AI powered task estimation feature, others find it wildly inaccurate. Their product roadmap, it feels reactive rather than strategic. The development cycles take longer than expected and different departments have conflicting priorities. And everyone has the data to support their position. But that data lives in silos across different tools. Any of this sound familiar? I mean, it's like basically every company I've ever worked for or consulted with. Okay, so this is where you come in. You're Technova's AI consultant, helping them transform how they understand their customers and make product decisions. You're going to work with their actual data customer feedback, usage patterns, support tickets, survey responses. And you'll face real constraints like limited development resources and competing stakeholder priorities throughout the course. You'll help Technova use AI to process thousands of customer comments in minutes instead of months, spot patterns across different segments that would be impossible to catch manually and turn overwhelming data into clear, actionable insights. The decisions you help Technova make, they could determine whether they become a market leader or get left behind by more agile competitors. And by the end, you won't just understand AI for customer insights. You'll have solved real problems using real techniques that you can apply in your own work. So if you're ready to help Technova transform how they understand their customers, let's dive in.
