A Shiv Yog master balances constant travel and spiritual events with family life, guided by his Guru's teaching of "200% life." He credits his wife and children with transforming his heart, and sees his dual roles reflected in Mahadev: Chandrashekar when with Uma Parvati, Bhairav when alone.
What's it like traveling with your family? Because you were traveling for so long, above a month I think, and your wife was there with you, your two young kids were there with you. But being a Shiv Yog master, you have so many events back to back, but then I assume you also have to find time to spend with your family. So how do you balance the two?
A lot of the times my consciousness is working for a mission. By the same time, I have this responsibility that I have created, and that responsibility, that work is probably the, the biggest work that I am doing. Because I am working on the present, but working on my kids is preparing for a future. So I cannot work on the present and ignore the future. So that is where I have to juggle for my consciousness. That is where Shiv Yogis are very well prepared. Because since beginning, our Guru has taught us 200% life. 200% life. And in a way, I'm very thankful that my family came. Because when my family comes, then even I get an opportunity to live. Yes. So I'm very thankful. I'm thankful to my wife that she did come and she did help me. And even the Shiv Yogis say that I am different. When I'm with my family, my heart is different, my communication is different. And it is at that moment when I go to my own Ishta Dev, Mahadev. Mahadev is Chandrashekar when he is with Uma Parvati. Mahadev is Bhairav when he is alone.
