Why is Forgiveness Important?

In this instructional monologue, the speaker (addressing a son or pupil) explains that true forgiveness requires the strength and discipline cultivated through martial practice. He argues that a weak person lacks the right to forgive because they are driven by compulsion and mental sulking. When one attains power and mastery, forgiveness becomes an expression of Karma Yoga, as taught by Lord Krishna. The speaker links this capability to the scientific creation of neuropathways and cellular activation, which he claims are prerequisites for effective meditation (sadhana) and the practice of Shiv Yoga. He references the Shiv Yog lineage, highlighting masters such as Bhagavan Guru Krishnanath and Bhagwan Parshuram, who were both great warriors and spiritual teachers. The “Yoga of Immortals,” transmitted from South India, is presented as the foundational practice that prepares a practitioner to engage in forgiveness and blessing. The overall message is that only after developing physical and neural strength can one genuinely experience and enjoy forgiveness.
