In this motivational talk, Ishan Shivanand explains the Shiv Yoga framework of "ghrast" monks—practitioners who cultivate spirituality within the family and community. He emphasizes the importance of continuous satsang, daily repetition of the mantra "Namah Shivaya," and mutual gratitude as a way to create a micro‑cosm of good people. Shivanand describes the existing two categories of Shiv Yogis and envisions a third, higher category that embodies the qualities of Jagannath and Avadhoot, suggesting that this evolution reflects the payoff of Babaji’s teachings. He encourages listeners to recognize that they "deserve" success because they are investing in themselves, and that small, consistent changes—reacting beautifully to stimuli, practicing kindness, and persisting over weeks—lead to larger opportunities and personal transformation.

In Shiv Yoga, we are 'ghrast' monks. 'Ghrast' means with family, because we want to grow with the people who are around us, because then it's simple, then it's— we've made a microcosm, microcosm of good people. Then satsangh is always happening. Because what you listen to, you become like that slowly. What you listen to every single day, you start to become like that. So we make divinity spirituality in our house only. So the moment we look at the people around us, we are like, "Namah Shivaya, bless you." We listen to this 20 times in a day. It is so nice. We look at the Shiv Yogi and we say, "Thank you." Then he says, "Thank you." And for 20 minutes we are saying thank you to each other. For what now, we also don't know. And it feels nice, yes or no? It's a good behavior, good trajectory that we are making. And I hope and pray that one day those two categories of Shiv Yogis will become the three categories of Shiv Yogis. Because if you can become this third category of Shiv Yogis, then understand, you are the Shiv Yogis of the Jagannath and the Avadhoot. Then life is good because you are living every day the way it should be lived, in the most right, nice, divine, divine manner. This, this category is the good category. This is the category that came and may not have been layak then, but today are very, very layak. This is the category on whom Babaji's gamble paid off. So I'm very, very thankful to that category. And I know right now only these people are clapping, and they are like, "Eh, eh." But it's okay. Now you deserve it. You deserve it. Why not? You deserve it! Because you are investing, you are ready to gamble on yourself. Because the day will come when so many golden opportunities will come to you and you will invest upon them and they will make good things happen in your life. But it starts from small things. Everything starts from small, basic, basic, basic things. Changes. How you interact with stimulus provided to you, it starts with that. So, start reacting beautifully, because if Babaji can think you deserve, then the people around you can also deserve. I am just saying. 'You deserve? Yes. They also deserve?' No. Why not? Try, try, see. And maybe in 10, 20, 30 days, things start changing. In one month you started to learn tea. In one month you started to learn so many things. Human beings learn. And trust me, If you persist, persevere, you can teach kindness also.
