If you think about it, communication is one of the oldest things that we have done as human beings. Starting way back in the caves, and we were literally drawing little things to try to communicate with each other. Since then, of course, it's evolved just a little bit, but we don't know what it's going to look like in the next hundred years.
Vonage is a communications platform. Our goal is to work with our customers to provide them any type of communication methods they need.
We are one of the largest cloud communications companies in the world, basically powering any kind of notifications, voice messaging that you can think of.
We've got a lot of good stuff in play, but I always like to build upon that and to be better.
Vonage's vision is accelerating the world's ability to collect.
We want to be the industry leader in our space as we continue growing the platform.
The challenge is the baggage that comes along with it. How do you keep making progress while running the business? You have to think that big, but then you also have to start small.
We have customers with multiple products and we're trying to bring that all together. The best way to scale a business is to let the data drive decision making.
Having Salesforce and Trailblazers like Tara, for example, who are equally innovative by the way, and equally passionate, allowed us to not only have that single pane of glass, but also automate everything automatable.
When I first started at Vonage, we were a company that was going through an evolution. Fast forward eight years, we're still evolving. I have been fortunate enough to be in a position to pave a path forward, and I absolutely appreciate the value that Salesforce brings to our company because we're going through a huge transformation.
So we're leveraging customer 360 to take all the different data points and then extract some real insights from it. We also use Slack. Slack is a big part of how we all communicate internally and we love it. In fact, a lot of our developer teams, they swear by it for everyday connectivity.
I get my reward by hearing that things are going the way they need to go and that people are happy. At the end of the day, if it's easy for our team members, it's going to be easy for our customers to do business this. And guess what? The company wins.
