A short first-person testimonial by Bradley Condon describing how community transformed his experience from passive lurking to active participation and leadership. He credits community with turning support from a mere transaction into a meaningful connection and introduces himself as a service pleaser, SA.
Community is what transforms support from a transaction into a connection. When I first joined this community, I was very, very shy. I was kind of someone who just, like, lurked in the background and, like, just watched everyone else kind of converse. Now that I do feel like I have a voice and that I have that confidence, it has helped me to go ahead and think, you know what? I do think I have what it takes to be a co leader and make sure that we can continue to give that to everyone. Hi, I'm Bradley Condon, and I'm a service pleaser, SA.
