Good afternoon. This is our biggest and most exciting Dreamforce ever, with 2,700 sessions, 170,000 people registered to attend. You know, I'm here to inspire you. I'm here to entertain you, to motivate you, excite you. But the number one reason and the number one thing I'm going to do today is just thank you to each and every one of you for everything that you do for us every single day. Let me tell you what excites me about my job. It's this incredible new, smarter world that we're creating together. Everyone and everything is connected. It's these incredible, very smart things that are happening. 75 billion smart things. And the reason why we come to Dreamforce is behind all of these things is our customer. And now we're on a major new journey. It's this incredible new world of artificial intelligence. And that's why we're so excited about Salesforce, Einstein, Thunder, IoT Cloud, these incredible apps. Salesforce, Sales service marketing, community analytics, apps, commerce, and now quip. All smarter because of Einstein. And let me tell you, who wrote all the code, made it all happen, brought all this to us. Parker Harris, our co founder and cto. Here he goes.
Parker Einstein took this complex world and he translated it down to a simple formula, E MC squared. We want to take all the complex things in the world and make it simple so that you just get what you need, which is intelligence.
Whoa. What's happening?
Whoa.
Einstein.
Hey, everybody. Welcome, Einstein, to Dreamforce. Customer data. Plus that intelligence from AI plus the Salesforce platform makes it the world's smartest CRM. Einstein. Einstein. It's okay. Don't laugh at Mark because he gets offended at that. We built it into the Salesforce platform, so it's right there with your data, and it's also right there with that lightning experience surfaced into all the applications you know and love. Sales, service marketing. It means that Einstein is everyone's data scientist. We have a brilliant data scientist here, one of our best employees, Shubha Nabar, PhD.
Please welcome.
You know, two years ago, we were this small team of five people in the basement with a big vision. And to see that vision come alive at the largest tech stage in the world is simply exhilarating. Now, this is all the data that Einstein is looking at. It's looking at my CRM data, my accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities. And if you want to add a new data source, it's as simple as just pushing a button. Now, what Einstein is doing behind the scenes is it's processing this data. It's learning patterns and it's making predictions about the future.
Let's welcome Alex Dayon, the president of our products. Welcome, Alex.
Good afternoon. Dreamforce Schneider is a company with a vision. Life is on, but it's also a company with a unique sense of value. Climate change is probably the biggest challenge of our generation. In that challenge, working together between Schneider and Salesforce will be absolutely critical. Jean Pascal Tricroire, Schneider's CEO, needs to connect with his customers in a whole new way. Needs to connect is 22,000 salespeople, is 4,000 agents, is millions of subcontractors and partners to half of the world's building all together on the Salesforce customer success platform.
Now let's hear from Stephanie Buscemi. Stephanie, welcome to Dreamforce.
What I love about Fitbit is it has completely transformed the way that we manage our health and fitness. They also know this is about delivering amazing support and service to their customers. Those cases are intelligently routed to the agent, and the agent knows what to do with it. Now, analytics, Cloud, Einstein are all those wave analytical applications that you know and love for sales, for service, for marketing. But now they're smarter because we built predictive capability into them.
When you're talking about, you know, tens of millions of consumers, how do you use that data? How do you deliver in a really effective way? Hire Salesforce. There's nothing better than that.
And now let's hear the story of RED from Salesforce vice president Ebony Freilich.
This week at Dreamforce, we have an amazing opportunity to change the world. So today I'm here to talk to you about red. They are a very small organization with a large mission of creating an AIDS free generation.
Ten years ago, 1500 babies were born each day with HIV. Now it's down to 400. By 2020, we can get that to virtually zero.
Now, one of the first things we did was we used our product and our Salesforce pro bono volunteers and we implemented wave Analytics. In 2014 in just South Africa alone, nearly 300,000 lives were saved due to the availability of these new treatment therapies. And now when they're on site with partners, they're able to share with them the impact of their matching donations, their events and product sales, which are, of course, key to the strategy. Join us. Join RED in creating an AIDS free generation.
Thanks to all of you. What a wonderful keynote. Let's go. Dreamforce community. Right on.
Sam.
