We are excited to share the latest Salesforce innovations with you. Which means we may talk about future looking products and services. Because future looking statements are inherently subject to risk and uncertainty, our reminder is that you should make any purchasing or investment decisions based on products that are currently commercially available.
Hello.
Hello.
Hello everybody. How's everyone doing? Yeah, yeah, yeah, we love you too. Good evening.
Good evening.
My name is Ketan Karkanis and I'm the GM for our analytics business. And it is my incredible privilege and honor to welcome you all to the analytics keynote today. Welcome. Now, we've got a lot of exciting stuff planned for you. There's of course some game changing product announcements, three live demos. But you know what I'm really looking forward to is the stories of our customers. You're gonna hear amazing customer stories because we have to be clear about one thing. Technology is simply an enabler. Real transformation requires trailblazers. And they're right here and we're going to hear from them today. At the end, we have a little surprise for you too. $10,000 gift vacation. One person and team tells me we're going to have more awards like cool new portable printers. So stick around for that. For me, perhaps this is the most important slide. And you have heard me say this before. We sincerely believe all our best ideas are not ours, they are yours. It's your feedback that becomes features. It's your energy that drives us, you motivate us and you keep us honest. So on behalf of the entire analytics team, thank you very, very much. We really appreciate it. And let's start here. The Salesforce customer success platform. Connect with your customers across sales service marketing. Every touch point, it's the foundation of your digital transformation. And analytics is built right in, native to every Salesforce application, connected to every business process. Now, connected, that's an important word. Hold on to that. We're going to come back to it. But first, look at this. We live in a time of tremendous technology change. Lots of good stuff happening. AI, AR VR voice. Now, I'm a bit of a geek, so this is Disneyland for me. That's okay, I'm having fun. But it's not about me and it's definitely not about the technology. It's simply about you. And the single biggest question we are going to answer today is how does all this enable your success? What does this mean to you? And how we are going to do it is step by step. So let's begin business applications. Now, you guys know all this, right? Sales, service marketing, we know this world very well. Then there's the world of analytics. Now some call it visualizations, some call it reporting. No matter what you call it, it is important because you need to see what is happening in your business and why this is crucial. And now we have AI, the game changing power of AI insights. What does that mean? Now we can see, get a glimpse of the future. We get predictive and prescriptive. Very exciting technology. But are you going to be swivel chairing? Three different boxes, three different logins, different stacks for everything. One stack for ML, one stack for visualization. That's probably not going to be fun because here's one simple thing we need to realize. These are not three separate boxes. They are facets of the same experience. AI and analytics need to come together, they need to be infused in your business applications. Because the only thing you need is not just a digital experience, but an intelligent experience. And analytics is built right in. And when done right, and if done right, analytics becomes invisible. But you get the benefits of it. And the benefits are pretty spectacular. Look at the first point. We are drowning in data, lots of data everywhere. You know, making sense out of millions of data points in sub second speeds. To derive insights, that's kind of hard. Our brains are not really wired to do that. You need automated discovery. Automated discovery helps you discover the story in your data. And the intelligent experience comes built with automated discovery. Insights have to be outcome focused. Of course you need charts which tell you about the past, but you need recommendations and explanations. You probably, I don't know, you probably don't need yet another dashboard which tells you what happened. You need better outcomes for the future. And you should not settle for incomplete. You need complete. Now think about this, from visualizations to predictive to prescriptive. You need it complete in one experience. Because I mean, imagine with me, just humor me for a second, please. How about you go and get a device to do your email, get another device to do your phone, another device to browse the web, another device to play games. You get this, right? No, you need smart analytics. And perhaps this is of the biggest significance. You know, in my, my own funny dictionary, my own world, AI stands for actionable insights. Keep it simple. Actionability is key because an insight which does not lead to an action is just a dumb chart. And that's why connected to the business process is key. Insights need to drive better actions. And to do all this, is it complicated, are you going to have to set up a new team or your existing team members, are they going to have to learn to code? No. Simple is not optional. You need to be able to leverage your, your existing teams and bring them to this new world of no code AI, of a completely different way of interfacing with your insights. And I say this all the time. You know, AI's role is amplifying your effectiveness. It's about augmenting your skills. But how will you trust it? Will you trust Insights and use those? Perhaps that's why accountability is key. Transparency is key. And you need all of this. You need this intelligent experience, preferably in one product. And that's why I'm super excited today to stand up here and announce to you guys, Einstein Analytics. Plus, take a moment. The visualizations, they're breathtaking. The AI is powerful but transparent. No black box, no code. Discover insights, predict outcomes, find recommendations, and it's connected to the business process. Take action. Let's keep things simple. And for the rest of this presentation, what we're going to do is together, all of us together here, we're going to build that path. We're going to build a path to this intelligent experience. And to do that, let's bring up on stage Kerry Brook, vp, Product Marketing. Let's give her a big round of applause. Recollect.
Well, I am so thrilled about the launch of Einstein Analytics. Every one of you in the audience, whether you're a sales executive, a service agent, if you work in campaigns or operations, or if you're a Salesforce admin, welcome. All of you are going to thrive in this new environment because for your part of the business, you're going to be able to drive success. But there's so much more with Salesforce analytics, all the way from basic to advanced with Einstein. And we are staying true to the core because now reports are lightning ready. I always call reports and dashboards and I say this all the time, they're like the original gangster of bi. And I'm so excited because we have 100% lightning parity for all of your top capabilities. Plus, you get these amazing new capabilities. Couple of my favorites, the reports with the Report Builder. Now, it's never been easier to create all of those reports from scratch. And email notifications so you can subscribe to all your favorite reports and dashboards and get all of those insights right there in your inbox. Well, we've got four chapters today and now we've got all the admins in the audience smiling because of Lightning Report Builder. We're going to jump into the first where analytics comes with AI as standard. Now, we were asking ourselves the question when we were Thinking about the fourth industrial revolution, what would happen if we brought AI and BI together? Well, in the words of Jennifer, one of our amazing trailblazers from McKesson, this gives us one of the greatest opportunities because not only do we gain competitive advantage from viewing the past and the present, but in order to really understand our customers, we need to know why something happened and what to do about it. That's why when, when you think about where. Where am I going to put AI first? Now, hands up, who uses operational reports? Okay, Lots and lots of you. That's why we've surfaced AI in every single operational report. We can analyze all of the data combinations in minutes. And not only that, we can look at those insights across region, across time, across geography. It not only gives us those actionable insights, but it also improves data quality and finally even drives up core CRM adoption. Now, we are all well trained in search. We right every single day outside of work, we actually use words and phrases to find the information that we want. Well, with conversational queries, we can do exactly the same. And Einstein changes the way that we're interacting with our business data. With conversational queries, all you have to do is type a question, drill into the data and get the answer. And take Spotify, right? If I'm looking for a song, I can drill through and I can scroll down.
Click.
But wouldn't it be easier to use Siri or Alexa or Google? Well, that's exactly what Einstein voice for analytics gives us. And then finally, we've integrated analytics in Einstein bots, so you can always chat with your Salesforce data. Now, how do we create these predictions and these recommendations? Well, we know that with Einstein predictions, it's like the fog lifts and we get this vivid view of the future. With Einstein discovery, we can analyze billions of data combinations in minutes. With Salesforce and non Salesforce data. And with storytelling and explanations, it's almost like having your own personal data scientist with you all the time. And with the newest Einstein prediction builder, we can create a prediction on any single Salesforce object. It's quick, it's easy, it's possible. Point and click. But in order to actually act on these insights and eventually automate those actions, we need to have a model that we trust. That's why we've made the model transparent. You can see exactly how the model created those predictions. You can also we give you explanations so you can understand all of the variables behind the prediction. And then finally, we give you accountable AI and what that means is it even tells you or warns you if you've got bias in your model. Okay, we've seen all of this great functionality and today I'm excited to tell you that we're going to see all of these insights through the eyes of Telstra. Now, Telstra is a trailblazer with a vision for data democracy. They are laser focused on customer success and they have this thriving B2B sales organization that they need to train and retain. So in order to bring this really to life, I'm going to invite Amruta Moktali onto the stage. And I want to point out to you that whilst this is through the eyes of Telstra, this is all demo data. So Amruta, up you come.
Thank you, Kerry. So today I'm not Amruta from Salesforce. I'm Amruta, a lead service manager at Telstra, a huge telecom in Australia. Now, it's Friday morning in Australia, I'm having my coffee and I get a push notification from Einstein analytics telling me, you know what, your churn is predicted to exceed your threshold. I'm going to look at the metrics behind this. I'm going to drill into enterprise because that is the area that I'm focused on and indeed the trend is going up. This is concerning. I'm talking to the team later today. So from right here, I'm going to share this with my team so that I can have a conversation with them later today. Now, it's raining outside, I have an umbrella in my hand, phone in the other, and my head is still churning about churn, like what's happening, right? But I have my phone in my hand. So I'm just going to ask Einstein, what are the factors impacting my churn? I'm interested in the negative factors. It's taking some time. It's probably having some coffee itself. There we go. I have the three insights right there. It's telling me that basic Internet is one of the most common reasons why I'm seeing churn. Now, this is concerning. You know, basic Internet is one of the most popular products for Telstra. I need to make sure that I take care of this. Now I'm in the office and I'm starting my day in data right here. Side by side with my report, I'm looking at Einstein Data insights where it's giving me all these insights, even filtered down to the metric I'm interested in, which is churned today. Not only that, it's going to highlight all the different things and here, in plain, simple English, it's telling me, you know, what all the Customers with modems that are greater than four years are having this problem. Now this is what I needed. This is exactly the insight I need while I'm going in and talking to my team. Now I'm running into my team meeting. My team is gathered all around the table and I'm ready to start my team meeting. And what am I going to say? Einstein Show Dashboard Customer Health360. There we go. This is the dashboard that we look at every single day in our meetings. Now these are the metrics that we look at every single day. And of course I'm looking at the next quarter numbers and the churn is not looking that great. So I'm going to go ahead and ask to go look at the details. Einstein toggle details. So here we are looking at the details of all the different accounts that my team is looking at. Now remember, what were we looking at in terms of our problem? The problem was all the customers with Modem Greater than 4 year old is having this problem problem. Now before Einstein, we would wait for the customer to have this problem and figure out what's going on and you know, file a case, get that case be routed and all those things happen. Right? But now I'm going to say Einstein filter modem age by greater than four years. There we go. I get the list I need to focus on. Now with Einstein Analytics, I can take proactive action. Now I can tell my service reps to go ahead and contact these customers even before they know that this issue has happened. That's not all. I can also go ahead and take proactive action right here and pre approve the modem upgrades for all these customers. Isn't that great? I got a notification in the morning as to what the problem was, why that problem was there, what I can do about it, and the tools to go ahead and fix this. Don't you guys all want that? Isn't that great? But why should this be limited to me as a manager? Now every single person in my organization, in your organization needs to have this power. Let me show you how we can do this for sales reps. Now here we are in the service console. Now in the service console, you're looking at a case and you have your whole customer360 here, your different priorities, your churn, your CSAT, your openpipe, the complete information every service rep needs. Not only that, I even get the guidance. It's telling me 42% predicted churn. That's not all. It's also going to tell me the leading causes for this churn which is an older modem and what I can do about it, that guidance, I'm going to go ahead and take that action to upgrade the modem. And now this is important. Einstein analytics reacted to my action, closed the issue and gave me a recommendation telling me, you know what, go ahead and give the performance plus offer to this customer because they will benefit from this there as simple as that. As a service rep, I close an issue and I also make my customer super happy with all the tools I have at my fingertips where I need to make my decision. Don't you all want this, the intelligent experience for every person in your business? Yes. With that, back to you, Kerry.
All right, thank you so much, Samuel. That was an awesome demo. Now, to bring even more light into the Telstra story, I would like to invite Nick Collins up on stage. Come on up, Nick, who's going to do a little more digging into the story. Hi.
Hi Kerry, how are you? I'm doing very well, thank you.
So congratulations. You have a new job and just moved to the wonderful city of San Francisco. So welcome.
Thank you. And any restaurant tips? Very welcome, of course.
Now tell me a little bit about your new role in Telstra.
Sure. Like I'm here now, based in San Francisco. I head up our business in the Americas and This is our B2B business. Immediately prior to this role, I had the role of leading our customer sales operations group which had accountability for the business side deployment of our salesforce environment in Telstra.
Now the comms business is an interesting business. And tell me a little bit about how your market has been changing and specifically then how Telstra has been changing along with that.
Yeah, absolutely. We're an organization that's been doing business for just a little over 100 years. And I actually like what Mark was talking about in his keynote. It feels like a while ago, but it was only a couple of days ago around the fourth Industrial revolution, because he introduced this concept of that being connected. And as a telecoms operator, connectivity is core to us. So we look at a lot of change around the technology and clearly 5G is one of those things. Customers are changing and B2B is your customers customers. We also see the competitive landscape changing. There's new and disruptive competitors, but also around people. As a business, we need to have the right skills in our business and also the ability to attract and retain the right talent for our future.
And how has analytics helped Telstra and helped you personally sort of in this climate?
Yeah, look, I think if you ask our sellers, our legacy environment was complex. It was clunky. We have a lot of data. So one of the things that we really wanted to envisage was a future where the user experience was truly fantastic, that there was a space, single source of truth that actually we could introduce insights and also foresight for our forecasting. And that creates a far better experience for our people. And we do a lot of NPS surveys of our people. And as we all know, salespeople love to give their feedback. And one of the things we asked them to do was to write us on the NPS before the before and after. And we saw a 70 point improvement between the two environments.
Wow, that's.
Congratulations.
Well, we were and where we are now.
That's great. And you know, there's probably a lot of people in the audience who are just embarking on their journey. What do you know now that you wish you'd known when you started your journey?
Oh, the people are the really important part here. I think. You know, We're a large B2B organization. You got a lot of different tenure across the organization from people who've worked with us for a long time. And then you've got the grads coming through our program. Not all salespeople love data and what we've done is created visibility and transparency we've never had before. So we're doing a lot of work around making data data the friend of the salespeople. So investing in our sales leader, coaching the frontline coaching. So the coaching experience between the seller and the sales leader is constructive and ultimately it translates to customer experiences and outcomes which are far better.
Well, what an amazing journey. I'm so glad that you came up on stage and we're going to get going with the presentation. So thank you, Nathan. Thank you so much. It was awesome. Now, to get these insights, you need data. And data is everywhere. Now imagine if you could connect to all of your data sources in one place. Now, for sales, service and marketing, they need the data where they work in their CRM. Now, the problem is that not all the data is in Salesforce. In fact, of the 5.8 trillion. Yes, trillion rows of data that are analyzed every month, 1 trillion actually comes from outside of Salesforce, from your ERP, your HR systems, your supply chain. But your business users need it where they work. And our ops and our admins need to actually get it in as well in an easy and fast way. That's why we've built a multitude of out of the box connectors like Amazon Redshift, Google, BigQuery, S3 Azure and many, many more, you'll never get stuck in your data silos again. And now for all of you mulesoft customers out there, welcome. We now integrate with mulesoft as well, but these data sources are coming from all over and we have to shape it as it comes in. And with the best will in the world, we all have problems with data quality. Now, you can do as a human, you can go in line by line and add the missing values and take out all the duplicate accounts and contacts, or you can let the machine do it. And so, with AI predictive recommendations, you can now let the machine find your missing values, find the errors and fix it. To see all of this data in action, we're going to have Amruta Mokhtali come back on stage. Back to you, amruta.
Thank you, Kerry. So, for this demo, I'm going to play the role of a Salesforce admin, like most of you out here. What's important to me, making sure I can connect and sync with any data so I can analyze it. So let me show you how Einstein analytics makes it easy for me to connect, sync, prep, analyze and predict using this. Now, there are several different ways I can connect to my data. And right here, you're looking at all the connectors I have available to me out of the box. Now I'm going to focus in on the Google BigQuery connector and pull in my usage data for all of my customers. I'm going to choose the fields that I'm interested in for my analysis. I'll get a quick preview of all the values in those fields because I want to make sure this is exactly the fields I want. And once I click save, I get a preview of what this is going to be like in my environment. Now, usage data by itself means nothing. I need to make sure I can connect it with the customer data I have in my system. So I'm going to go ahead and do a join by clicking on Add Data, choosing my customer data, and I get the same information, all the columns, all the values, and up top, the different ways I can connect and join these data sets. It's also recommending a join key for me to be able to connect them all. Looks great. I'm going to go ahead and say done. And there, my complete data set is now ready for me. But can you tell me what's missing on the screen? State the missing fields there. What am I going to do? Like Kerry mentioned, Am I going to go in and type every single missing state? No. Look at that blue bar at the bottom. Einstein is going to give me smart suggestions based on the column that I'm in. In this case, it's going to predict the missing values based on all of my data. Once I add this column, it's going to go ahead and say, you know what, this is probably what these missing values need to be. And with that, I have complete data. I'm going to create my data set. Now, this data set is of course going to take some time to put together. Let me show you what I can do once this is created. Now here, I'm going to go ahead and explore this. I'm going to ask it, what are the failed connections by state? And you know what it's going to do? It's going to query a 2 billion row data set and instantly give me the answer, yes. Not only that, it's also going to tell me the visualization that's accurate for me to look at this. Now, this was all human LED that I showed you. What can AI do for me? How can AI augment my skills and help me discover these insights from my data? Now, I could do manual discovery like I did right here, or I could do automated discovery. Let me show you how we can do that within Einstein Analytics. Now, the same data set, I now have an option that says create story. Once I choose that option, I'm gonna choose the metric I want to optimize today. It's maximizing lifetime value. I have my data options on the fields I can choose. And once I'm okay with all my changes, I'll create the story. Now this is extremely important. Now this is like a bunch of data scientists sitting, writing code, doing all the pattern matching across all these variables and uncovering those insights and recommendations for you and putting together what we call a story. So let's look at the story once it's done. Here you have a list of recommendations based on the outcome that I was focused on, which was lifetime value. I get what has happened, I can see why it has happened. And I can also get predictions and improvements. But how do you trust this? How do you know this model is working? How do you know that this is exactly what it should be doing, right? Model metrics. There I get the capture rate, the scoring metrics, the validation metrics, the coefficients, all the information that I need to make sure this is the model I want. It's accurate enough for me to go ahead and deploy. That's when to operationalize this I will deploy to Salesforce. I can go ahead and choose the object to which I'm going to add these predictions then once I'm done, I have now been able to give these insights to both my internal and as well as my external customers. So let's look at the account page where every single salesperson is now empowered with the insights of all the customer with the 360 as well as the guidance right there side by side. And that's not all. Even all my partners are now getting the same insights within their partner community. Insights predictions on any of your data possible extremely easily within Einstein analytics today. That. Back to you, Kerry.
Now, Telstra is not the only trailblazer in the house today. We also have dupont. Now, dupont is one of the largest manufacturers in the world, and they're actually splitting up into three. Three new public companies. They're fueling the growth in those companies through customer success. And because they're manufacturing, they have to find that they have to utilize every single one of their assets and balance the portfolio that they have across their business. So to bring this story to life, I'm going to invite Andy Lee on stage IT director with Dupan. Hi, Andy. Welcome, welcome. So you have a great story, great background. Tell us a little bit about your role, but also tell my favorite story about how you first were exposed to Salesforce.
Absolutely, absolutely. And first I'd say, great three days. I mean, all I hear is how important we are, the customers to you and everyone from Salesforce. A privilege to work with us. And the privilege is mutual. We've been a partner with you for over 15 years.
Wow.
And one of my stories was when I was younger, I used to work for our CIO and I would run all of his leadership meetings. And he said, you know, there's this small company and their CEO really has some good things to say about this thing called the cloud. And we're using them. And I'd like you to invite him. And he was Marc Benioff. And what I reflect of that day is Mark came in and it wasn't the glitz. It wasn't the presentation. It was. He sat down at the computer and he demoed this software to an entire leadership team meeting. And right there was, you know what? This man not only believes in his product, but he loves it. He owns it, and he showed us it. So it was a remarkable event.
That's amazing. What a great, great story. So just as I asked Nick, what are some of the things that you're seeing change in DuPont and specifically around, like, the manufacturing industry?
Sure, sure. Well, we are changing three new companies So I will be at the future specialty products division, which is future DuPont. Where we're seeing things change is in digital. So part of my role is digital innovation. Digital eight years ago, used to be the chief digital officer, was a digital marketer. And that's changed. It is now Industry 4.0. It is now Einstein. It is analytics, it's supply chain, it's employee empowerment with chatbots, RPA's. So the possibilities are endless when it comes to the digital era. And Salesforce is a huge part of that for us.
From the customer side right now, a lot of our customers talk about sort of that moment in the implementation or the rollout that sort of the light bulb goes off. And some people call it the aha moment. Like, tell us what your aha moment was.
Yeah, so the aha moment was probably less about the product and more around how we did it. And I have some of my team here and I think they may start liking me by now, but didn't like me very much last year. And what we aha moment was is we just had to do this and we had to do it quick and we had to be really agile about it. And we're an engineering company. So many of you know what that means, right? We really like to analyze things. And I said, guys, let's get this out there, get it quick, get use cases. The data's not going to be great, but let's just use it and do it. And honestly, we've been a little distracted with spinning. And I turned around and a month later my team had it on every instance and had five to ten use cases working. And so I applaud them. Thank you for those in the audience. And yeah, it was great.
So you're at this point in your journey, what's next for your journey around digital transformation?
Yeah, for digital transformation, I think it is connecting. And that's. We talked about that. It's the connectedness. And our connectedness is in the data. Data is the currency. And our supply chain data is hugely important to us. Our customer data is very important. So we're going to take this to the next level and really bring in that supply chain data, bring in the erp. Show our customers what they can predict, what they need to know and what we're B2B. But it still makes total sense because I think my role is to make our customers be the best they can be to their customers. You know, make the best products they can make with our ingredients. And that's part of what we're gonna be Focusing on.
Well, thank you so much for coming up here today. We're so excited about you being a customer. Thank you so much, Andy.
Thank you. Thank you so much.
Okay, bye. All right, so we've seen how AI and analytics is coming together. We've also seen that that needs data and we can pull in all of that data from Salesforce or connect to that data from Salesforce and outside of Salesforce. But the next question that we want answered is how do I get this out to my business users quickly and easily? And in the words of my friend Emilio sitting here in the front, how do we make our business users love bi with dashboards that rock? Well, we use out of the box templates. These out of the box templates accelerate the journey from idea to application in record time without ever spinning up an IT project. Because we give you the data flows, the dashboards, the app structure, but more importantly, we give you all of our best practice KPIs built right into the application so we can deploy and customize these in record time, creating these beautiful, intelligent experiences. One of my favorite new features in the platform is dynamic pages where you can drill into the information and get those experiences. And we need to do this all on the go as well. That's why I'm so excited that for the first time we now have all of those rich analytics on mobile offline, which is great for those. Thank you. It's great. When you get on that plane, I fly United and you don't always have wi fi, that's for sure. And then finally, you need to embed these insights in everywhere that we work. Now, that can be in Salesforce applications, non Salesforce applications, and even outside of Salesforce. That means that when you're in sales, cloud service, cloud, marketing, cloud, the insights are there. You can even embed these insights in your external communities for your partners and your customers. We embed them right into the workflows and even take them to non Salesforce applications. It's the best of all worlds. Okay, so I love Amruta's demos. She's amazing. But we have a very special occasion today because we have a customer, Mirko Grop, who actually raised his hand and said, I want to demo on stage. So Merko Grop from Telstra is going to take it away on how we can deploy quickly to every business user up on stage. Mirko.
Thank you. Was a long intro. Like Nick, I work in the Telstra enterprise business and my team looks after the Salesforce platform globally. And we are part of a massive End to end transformation. And actually last year we were sitting in this keynote and eating popcorn and being be dazzled by all the great capabilities and we hadn't launched anything. And since then we have come, as Nick said, a long way. So we migrated all our sales users onto Salesforce globally and we also deployed Einstein and worked on Einstein since almost day one. So thank you Salesforce for being a great partner, the analytics team and our account team as well as the team Telstra that's sitting there for all the hard work. But I'm here to do a demo. So the capability I want to show you is basically templates. And templates will help you to be a lot quicker in deploying and giving all your users access to the data that they need. And that's really relevant for small organizations that don't have a big bi team as well as large organizations to cater for the long tail. And in any case, it's always a good start to start with a template and then refine it together with users. So let's go straight into the demo. That's the analytics studio as you know it. We choose a template and over here, as Carrie mentioned, you have the library of the ever growing library of templates. And here Nick talked about sales coaching and how important it is for our change journey. So let's choose sales coaching. And over here you get an overview, right? The key KPIs, the objects you need and a quick overview. That looks fantastic. So let's choose it. And this step is really important. Analytics now makes sure that this template can be applied to your specific org and looks all good. So let's go ahead. And now I just have to confirm a couple of fields. For example here that the segmentation is by line of business. That's correct. Let's do it. And we name the app. And now basically Einstein or Analytics builds in the background the whole dashboard. So it builds the data flows, the data set and the dashboard itself. So let's jump straight into the final end product and that's it, the dashboard. I can see my predicted performance against quota or target and I can already see that we won't make it. But also Einstein on the right hand side will tell us, look, there is more potential. And I can go through my different lines of business and quickly. I can see that probably enterprise is the one where the gap is the biggest and also the opportunity is the biggest. And also Einstein tells me, look, opportunities with executive sponsorship, a specific campaign and in Asia are more successful. Let's go straight into sales coaching. Let's have a look at the team. This is the overall team. Left hand side the leaderboard, right hand side the key opportunities. And I want to help Alana to be more successful. So let's have a look at Alana's portfolio from Einstein. I know executive sponsorship is a real key success factor and I can see one of her biggest opportunities with the biggest potential has no exec sponsor. I also happen to know that Emily is very familiar with the customer. So I straight out of analytics launch a post, a chatter post to Emily and ask her for her support straight out of analytics. So that I think is a big benefit of the platform. Done. And two more things. Obviously all of this is also optimized for mobile. So if you look at the mobile view, you have these nice dashboards on the go and as Carrie mentioned, they are now offline in offline models so you can check them out before you board a plane. And on the plane you can interrogate your dashboards. And last but not least, all these dashboards you can also now embed into crypt documents. So no more updating of dashboards. Every sales cadence, every week, every month, whatever it is for you. And on the spot you can interrogate the real time data so you can go and answer questions on the segments and interrogate on the spot. That's it. Thank you, Jason and thank you, Carrie. Over to you.
All right. Wasn't that amazing, Mirko, you're my hero. So now we're going to look at how I know you're all saying, well, how can I get started today? Well, I'm going to invite Katie Augustus up on stage who is so on brand, she actually has salesforce blue shoes on. So a round of applause for that if nothing else. Thank you, Carrie. All right, take it away, Katie.
It is Dreamforce after all. Thank you, everyone. Well, we've just walked through your path to the intelligent experience. We've seen how you can get AI with the power of analytics. You can connect to any data, you can deploy quickly with app templates. But I know what you're all wondering, how can I do it today? So let's talk about that. Our trailblazers are creating intelligent experiences every day and they're putting up some pretty staggering numbers. But what's most impressive about these numbers is not just that they're big, but they are. It's that behind each of these numbers are real people with some pretty incredible stories to tell. So let's get to know a few of them. Today we're going to hear from three incredible trailblazing customers from Cox Automotive, McKesson and Visioneer360, all of whom have been successful in their analytics journeys. So let's roll. The.
Analytics is changing rapidly in that it always used to be about looking in the rear vision mirror, but today it's more looking through the front windshield and understanding what's going to happen and what could happen.
The biggest pivotal moment that I had in my career was being able to change a billion dollar organization as one person that had end data in their hands.
Data by itself is not what people are really after. I think what people really after is an answer.
When I got to McKesson, our reporting structure was living in our IT environment. And so that's where a role like mine could come in and be in that go between between the business and IT to really build a better platform and a better process for the patient.
So when you look at the different components of business, whether that's the customers, the salespeople, the systems people in the business, we see Einstein analytics as being the linchpin that holds all of that together.
How do you take all this information about all of our clients and all of our different brands across Cox Automotive and bring all that data together in one easy spot in a more efficient way? Once we did that, then the magic happened.
With the adoption of the analytics platform, we're able to now engage with over 2,2000 of our customer service representatives, which would impact thousands of patients.
It was super exciting with a former client to see their sales pipeline quadruple in the short space of two years.
Just got an email from one of our VPs of sales. He saw something on dashboard, new functionality and he said it rocked. How many times you get a dashboard and somebody tells you it rocks?
I'm extremely proud. My team has been amazing. They've come on this year and have been able to really turn the world upside down from an analytics perspective. Here at McKesson, I didn't have an.
IT background and yet I found a new career path doing business intelligence. And that was me on a personal level blazing a new trail.
I mean, two years that transformed my life, beginning as a business analyst with no knowledge of Salesforce, and then the giant leap of faith to start the new business and become Salesforce partners in the analytics space.
So I get excited, entertained, and, you know, is just passionate about making change that is the right kind of change.
I think that analytics has the potential to do more than change the way we work, but also change the way that we live.
I think the opportunities are unlimited. What we can do in the future is going to be pretty amazing.
Well, Jen, Mark and Emilio are here with us today. Guys, please stand up. Thank you for sharing your incredible stories. You've transformed both your careers and your company with Einstein Analytics. It's truly inspiring. Thank you. Let's give them one more round of applause.

Some call it augmented analytics. We call it Einstein analytics, and it's available today. But before we let you go, we have to do one more thing. Remember I said we're gonna have some fun at the end, too. So let's go do that. Look under your seat. One lucky winner is gonna get a $10,000 dream vacation. And if you're one of that, come on over. Come on over to the stage. Is there a winner? Oh, golden ticket or silver ticket? You can come too. You're a winner, too. Come on up. And we've got the golden ticket winner. Let's give it a big round of applause. Come on up. Come on up. Welcome, welcome, welcome. What's your name?
Valerie.
Valerie, congratulations. And I think so. We have your check right here. I guess you're gonna have to check it in. Yes. Oh, my God. You won a vacation. Have fun. Congratulations to you guys. You guys are winners, too. Your prizes waiting for you downstairs. Congratulations and thank you. Thank you very, very, very much, all of you. Really, really appreciate all of you spending your last year of Dreamforce with us. Let's give a big round of applause to all our trailblazers, and I hope to see you on the road.
