Salesforce CIO Corner discusses preventing AI bias by using trusted organizational data. Speakers highlight Data Cloud as a way to centralize data with minimal copying, giving CIOs and nonprofit leaders control over how agentic AI systems operate.
Ensuring that the AI isn't biased is really important that we're using our truths, the data that we have, versus pulling in other information that may be ill informed or inaccurate. I think very specifically with nonprofits, that comes up very much so, maybe more so than the private sectors, are the ethical implications.
And one of the tools and technologies we have here at Salesforce to help us with that is data cloud. I'm a huge fan of Data Cloud because it allows us, with basically zero copy, to bring data from multiple sources, trusted data from trusted systems, to be able to trust the AI outputs from Agent Force.
I think what you're talking about, at least with agentic AI, is the amount of control we have. And I think that's going to be really reassuring to CIOs, CISOs, CEOs. Everyone in the organization is controlling the environment and actually giving yourself a chance to assess the outcomes.
