Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Chairman CEO Salesforce, Marc Benioff.
Welcome, everybody. Thank you for coming here today. We're thrilled that you are here with us. We're very excited about the huge progress with Einstein since we announced it at Dreamforce. We've now delivered it to all of our Salesforce customers around the world, and they have access to this incredible artificial intelligence capability right inside the Salesforce platform. Let me tell you where we are. We're in a beautiful new building here in San Francisco, Francisco called Salesforce East. And right behind me, you can see that Salesforce tower, the tallest building in San Francisco, is rising. Last week, we announced our revenue and earnings. You can see over the last six years the tear that Salesforce has been on. This year, we're going to do $10.2 billion in revenue. We're so excited. But perhaps the thing that I really was most excited about was when I saw this, which was Fortune magazine's most admired companies list. So thank you for that incredible recognition. This company is built on a set of values, values that are extremely important to us. Values like trust, growth and innovation and equality. Who would have thought 18 years ago when we started Salesforce, that this is where we would end up being today?
You know, I think back four years ago, Mark and I sat down and said, listen, how do we bring the company into the enterprise? How do we scale into the enterprise and what are the things that we need to focus on? And there were three things that we thought about. Industry focus, international reach, world's strongest ecosystem. Those were the three growth planks. And as a result, we saw some amazing results in Q4. CRM is now the fastest growing segment of the enterprise software business. And no company is better positioned to drive success for its customers in this space than Salesforce.
So it is the year of Einstein here at Salesforce, you know, and everything is more connected and smarter than ever for our customers. They need to put their customers at the center. All these signals from cloud, from mobile, from so social, from IoT, and from AI, are informing how they connect with their customers.
Our strategy at Salesforce has been to become the world's number one CRM. The first part of our strategy is to make each and every cloud on our platform leaders in their categories. But there's another element to the strategy, which is we want all those clouds to be integrated together. The world's most complete CRM together is actually the foundation for a very powerful AI infrastructure.
So let's talk about the intelligence transformation that's taking place, and enterprise software businesses are generating far more data than ever before. So with Salesforce Einstein, we're bringing all of these advanced AI capabilities into the Salesforce platform to make all of our apps across all of our clouds smarter.
I am super excited today to talk to you a little bit about our research and how it impacts CRM and Einstein. One of our most amazing customers, Coca Cola, uses some breakthrough AI algorithms for their business. And now with the power of Einstein, we use deep learning to do object detection.
Being able to find better ways to optimize our inventory and to turn that into actions for our customers as fast as we can is a huge opportunity for us.
AWS, together with Einstein, is transforming the lead to cash process. They have completely AI powered their lead to cash process, all on the intelligent customer success platform.
And if you think about the combination of Salesforce and AWS taking the lion's share of the things that people want to run in the cloud and making.
It very easy for them, it's very exciting to have IBM as part of the Salesforce ohana.
Salesforce and IBM. Mark and I share a similar vision. A future in which every professional is aided by cognitive system that augments their expertise. Together, our companies are uniquely matched to bring that future to the present.
I think we've dreamed of that partnership for 18 years. It's a huge moment for us for sure.
Ben Stein and Watson got to get together. I don't think either one of us have met. Imagine that 18 years ago we'd be standing here. Happy birthday to Salesforce. One, two, three. Thanks, Parker. All right, thanks, everybody. Thank you.
