How can we use Generative AI to help our teams work faster? Well, what we're looking at here is a contact record within Salesforce, and at first glance this might seem like any standard contact page, but this is an intelligent page powered by Einstein. So imagine I'm a sales rep trying to get quickly caught up to speed on one of my customers before contacting them. Normally I would spend time clicking and searching to find the right information, but instead I have Einstein as an assistant and with the click of a button can generate a summary to help me and the entire team get caught up to speed with a quick glance. Einstein can be embedded throughout the platform where we're able to use Generative AI to give a customized product recommendation and more importantly, help me understand why it's making this recommendation for my customer. Now that Einstein has prepped me with a summary it and shared which product to recommend, I'm ready to write my outreach email, which Einstein can help with too. So what are some other experiences Einstein can help with? Well behind each of these Generative AI results is an effective prompt, which is how we guide the large language model so they can create relevant content. This brings us to Prompt Builder, where we create and manage trusted AI prompt templates, like this prompt we saw that summarizes the contact record for us, or this prompt that recommended a product. But how do we get started and create a prompt? We start by selecting a prompt template type, like generating a value for a field, summarizing a record, or writing an email. We'll give our prompt a name and description. Now, when I click Create, you'll see that I'll land inside an environment that helps us create a great prompt prompt. At the top is my prompt workspace, which is where we can describe what we want Einstein to do using natural language and ground it with my business data. Einstein makes it easy to ensure your prompt template is effective by testing and tuning it as you go. Just select a record to generate a preview of and once we click Save and preview, the prompt is sent to the Einstein Trust layer, ensuring a zero retention standard so your data is never stored outside of the Salesforce trust boundary. We then receive the generated content from the LLM, which allows you to test and refine the prompt as you go. One way to adjust the prompt results is by testing out different models. Einstein is flexible, which means it's being engineered to support many LLM providers. Keep in mind that LLMs aren't one size fits all different LLMs can and do respond differently to a single prompt. That's because they've been trained on different data with different teaching techniques. But what matters to you is that you are able to pick the right model for the right job. You've got your working prompt, which you are then able to embed within the flow of work to create these AI powered experiences.
