A Salesforce product demo showing how Industries AI combined with Automotive Cloud uses telemetric data to detect and resolve vehicle issues. The narrated scenario: an in-car drivetrain malfunction alert links to a vehicle record in Automotive Cloud (verified by VIN), where telemetry from Data Cloud is available; Industries AI (Einstein) generates a detailed vehicle telemetry summary, recommends creating an inspection case, and the specialist saves the summary and case so the mechanic has full context. The admin workflow briefly shows enabling Generative AI, editing the Vehicle Telemetry summary prompt in Prompt Builder, and adding the summary component to the Lightning record page.

Buckle up, because by the end of this video, you'll learn how to get from point A to I safely with industry's AI and automotive Cloud. This should come as no surprise to you, but we spend an alarming amount of time in cars. Did you know the average American spends 60 minutes a day in a car? So that's like over 17,000 hours in your lifetime. Commuting to and from work, driving to the grocery store, getting in an Uber, sitting in traffic. The list goes on and on. Since your customers spend so much time on the road, don't you want them to have peace of mind, knowing they can actually trust your team to take care of their vehicles? Well, that's exactly what you can do with Salesforce Industries AI and Automotive Cloud. With predictive and generative AI working together, you can now rest easy knowing your technical service specialists have all the telemetric data they need to diagnose issues as they arise and provide your customers with the right service. So let's see this in action. Now, imagine while your customer is driving, a notification just pops up on their car's central display alerting them of a drivetrain malfunction. Confused and concerned, they'll pull over and get in touch with their dealership service center. At the dealership, the service manager can view his list of open alerts in Salesforce Automotive Cloud. Now, at the top of the list is the one related to our customer's vehicle, verified by the vehicle identification number. When he takes a closer look, he can access the car's diagnostics remotely with telemetry data ingested by data cloud. In the vehicle record, the service manager can see the vehicle fault notification confirming there's an issue with the drivetrain. Now, there is a lot of valuable information on this screen, including vehicle history, previous cases and work orders. But for a service specialist to create a full summary of the vehicle's own overall health, that would take some time. Luckily for him, Industries AI can help. Here, our service specialist will select vehicle telemetry summary, then hit generate Einstein, pulls together all the relevant data from this car's history and generates a detailed summary for our specialist. In the summary, we can see there are a few reasons this vehicle needs to be serviced. Industries AI also provides information on the cause for the vehicle fault notification, the remedy, and even tips for the inspection during the vehicle's next service appointment. That's all really helpful for our service specialist and has saved him so much time. So he saves this generated summary to the vehicle's record, but he's not done yet. Now, from Here, if we scroll down, we can see under Actions and recommendations. Einstein recommends that he create a vehicle inspection case. So he clicks into this form and fills out all the details, then hits save. Now, when our customer goes in for their service inspection, the mechanic has all the details they need to service your vehicle and resolve the drivetrain malfunction. Now buckle up because I might have more car puns for you, but this is really where things get super interesting. You've seen what it looks like for our service specialist, but if we peek under the hood, we'll see how a Salesforce admin brought this all to life. For first, we want to give Generative AI the green light in setup. It's as easy as toggling this button to active. Now let's switch over to Prompt Builder. If we click on the Vehicle Telemetry summary prompt, you can see how it all works. Now, a prompt is just a detailed set of instructions that you give an LLM or large language model to help it generate an output or a response. The more detailed you are in your prompt, the the better the response. Okay, so we have our prompt ready. Now let's add it to our record page. We're going to switch over to Lightning App Builder and add the summary component to this page so our end users can access it. We can edit the text seen in the component and select which prompt templates we want users to choose from. Then hit save. And just like that, we're done with Industries AI and Salesforce Automotive Cloud. And every service specialist can help customers with confidence and efficiency, whether they're doing maintenance, addressing a warranty issue, or responding to a potential claim. And every driver has peace of mind, knowing their vehicle is in great hands. Well, that's it for today.
