A short demo conversation (YouTube) about rapidly building an AI agent to support prospective students. Speakers discuss replacing static request-for-information forms with conversational agents that answer questions about courses, prerequisites, application links and suggested application dates; they note integration with an institution's Salesforce-based student information system.

Our mission is to serve students who wouldn't otherwise have access to education. And a lot of those students are working. So we need the ability to serve those students 24. 7. The thing that we're struggling with is when a student, say, visits our website and then they have a question. But right now we just have a request for information form. Right. It doesn't really make sense. You fill out a form and then you wait for us to call you. Why have that delay?
I can show you how quickly we can get started on building out your first agent. Do you have any idea of what you might want to put for a scope for this particular agent?
Yeah. So I would wanted to answer things like descriptions about the courses. Are there any prerequisites to admission? And one of the goals is also to, like, always push them towards applications. So always provide the link to the application.
Why don't we go ahead and test it out? Type in a question saying, hey, I'm interested in making a positive impact on the environment. Do you offer any programs that can help me? And now it's gone ahead and generated a reply.
I love how excited it's gone ahead.
And suggested dates to apply, you know, based on your specific term. I really love that.
That's really cool. We built our whole student information system on Salesforce, and so it was like, wow, this is perfect. We've kind of laid the groundwork to be able to have agents access all of our information. Awesome. Whenever we can replace forms with just a conversation with an agent, having it kind of coach you through the answers is like a huge deal.
Yeah, it's like conversations might be our new way of capturing data, right?
