I had a really bad snowmobile accident up in Vermont and went off like a small cliff, hit a tree, and then hit the ground. I had 13 broken bones. There's no way I was climbing out of there. I thought, if I make it, you know, what do I want to do? I'm 54, with the rest of my life, you know, how do I have the biggest and best impact with my years left? I kept thinking over and over about the Dalai Lama, quote, live a good and just life so when you're older, you can look back at it and enjoy it a second time. And so trying to have as big an impact as I can with HubSpot. What we always say about HubSpot is we want to build a company our grandkids can be proud of and brag about. Kind of feel like that of your whole life. You want to have something really, really special that many, many generations will be talking about it after you pass.
So coming to HubSpot, I had an opportunity to be able to say, what if we told the story of founders where we're not pitching HubSpot, we're not trying to get you to do anything other than to be inspired.
