Introducing Campaign Assistant: Free AI Marketing Asset Creator

A HubSpot product demo in which Matt demonstrates Campaign Assistant, an AI-powered tool that helps marketers generate marketing assets (emails and Google search ads) quickly. The demo covers onboarding prompts (campaign description, key messages, CTA, writing style), how the tool generates email content and variants, editing inputs and regenerating content, managing assets in folders, and plans to expand to more ad types and direct HubSpot draft creation.

Hey, Matt here from HubSpot, and I'm going to show you Campaign Assistant, which is a brand new tool that helps marketers create their marketing assets in minutes. So we all know that scaling a business is time consuming and sometimes important marketing activities can fall by the wayside. Well, now you can actually save time whilst creating your marketing campaigns with Campaign Assistant. So let's get started and I'll show you how it works. So, first of all, Campaign Assistant is going to ask me what I'd like to create first. So I'm going to select Marketing Email and then you'll be prompted to sign up for free. Currently, anyone in the world can sign up for free or you can simply log in with your existing HubSpot account. Brilliant. So I've created my HubSpot account, I've created Sparkworks Media, which is a web consulting and SEO specialist. Next, campaign Assistant will ask me what my campaign's about. So I'm going to offer a free website consultation for summer. Next, it'll ask me what my key messages are and what makes me stand out against my competitors. So I'm going to put in here some information about my business, who I am and what makes me special. Next, it'll ask what I want my audience to do, gives me some options for some calls to action and it offers me a box where I can add my own. I'm going to select my own and I'm going to put in there call. Now, following that, it'll ask me to pick a writing style and I can choose up to three keywords here that will help inform how I'd like my content to be written. I'm going to pick for now, just friendly and we'll see how that goes. Next, it will take all that information and it will start building my marking email content. So here we are. So on the left you can see the information that I added in the onboarding and on the right you can see the first bit of market email content it has created for me. So it gives me a subject line, a sub header, three paragraphs with headers and a call to action. And it also gives me a quick onboarding guide, informs me that my information has been saved, then tells me to rename my asset. So I'll just change this to free consultation. It then informs me that I can regenerate more content and with the same prompt or I can change this information. And it keeps and saves all of the output as well. It'll tell me that I can then copy my generated content and take it into my marketing email software. And finally it will tell me that I can go and send my free marketing email with HubSpot itself. So I've got my content on the right and I'm happy with it, but it's not quite what I need. I've noticed there's a few errors here. So first of all, it says established 2009. That was a typo on the onboarding. So I'm going to change that. I'm going to change up the writing style as well. When I change those and press regenerate content, it will create me a new variant with my new output. So I'm going to Change that to 2008 and I'm going to change this to a professional tone friendly seems a bit too friendly now. When I press regenerate content, it will create me a new variant and here it is. So what it's done here is it's the tone has changed to be a lot more professional and where it used to say 2009, it's changed 2008. The whole content is new. It's not just changing certain words. It's actually fully different. I can then go ahead and I can copy it, take it into my marketing email software or I can obviously go to HubSpot and start sending my free marketing email as well. Now if I go back here, I can see view all campaign assets. If I press that, then I can see my marketing email here and I can see that I have a folder and file structure here where I have the option for more campaigns on the left and more assets on the right. So what I'm going to do here now is I'm going to select this option here and I'm going to opt to create some Google search ads. So when I press this, it persists all the information I've already given it and it just gives me a call to action to generate the content. So I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to press generate content. And once again, in just a few more seconds, it has created me some Google Ads which I can then go in there, I can copy and I can go and manage them in my core HubSpot account or directly into Google Ads. I can rename them and I can go back, I can rename my campaign. So this is my free consultation summer and I can make a new campaign. So in a matter of minutes I can create myself multiple assets, multiple variants and I can go ahead and start running my marketing campaign. So something that used to take market as hours can now be streamlined and done in minutes. Next up for Campaign Assistant, we're hoping to create more ad types such as social ads and other Google Ad formats where working right now as we speak to take our AI generated content and actually pull that directly into HubSpot drafts themselves. So that's being able to take a landing page or marketing email content and actually create you the scaffolding of a landing page or a marketing email or a Google campaign there and then. So in minutes you could be set up with a draft landing page, sending it for approval, getting it published in very, very short period of time and campaign assistance, just that it's an assistant, it can help you market your business and it can help you reach new customers. We'd love to hear back from you and what you think and what you want to see next, so feel free to drop in any of the comments below what you want to see. Thanks.
