What?
I think it's upside down.
Today we're taking a look at fan data using tableau to see what takes pole. So the topic is, what is F1 fans favorite track? We've got five tracks here. We've got Brazil, Silverstone, Zandvoort, Vegas and Singapore.
I really want to say Silverstone.
Silverstone is going to take pole. It's my favorite of those five.
My favorite is maybe Silver.
Always a good track to watch home.
Race, so kind of have to go.
It's usually good racing there. Brazil does have very good racing as well.
Brazil. Brazil's great.
I know a lot of people like Brazil, but I think Silverstone's just gonna pivot.
But I feel like Vegas could be up there. I think Vegas is close. I think Singapore is cool because it's a night race, so it's always just looks great. Zand.
Yeah.
Probably my least favorite cool track. Probably least favorite.
My best guess is I want to go solar Stone.
Vegas, Singapore, Brazil. Zander.
I'm gonna reveal the order. Huh?
What I think so say that British.
Grand Prix was last.
British GP is last. Then Brazilian Grand Prix, then Dutch Grand Prix, then Las Vegas, Singapore.
Wow. I don't know what their criteria is for their favorite track, but it's not the same as my criteria.
Most anticipated Grand Prix of 2024.
So the options are Spa, Silverstone, Monza, Suzuka, and Monaco. See, now my instinct's all messed up. I don't know whether to believe it. Now.
Could be like five of my favorite tracks.
I think Monaco would be highly anticipated because it's Monaco. Monza is always a good race. I mean, no one likes Silverstone before, so I don't know why they'd like it now. I'm gonna say Monaco on this one.
I think Monza. Monza's always a good one. Surprise winners over the last few years. Exciting race. So I want to go Monza number one. Everyone loves Spa. Spa number two, Silverstone number three, Monaco, four, Suzuka five. I'm so wrong.
So Silverstone is the most anticipated Grand Prix, so I'm surprised.
British Grand Prix number one for most.
Anticipated, even though it's no. 1's favorite track, but least favorite. So that makes sense.
Last place, Japanese Grand. I got it right.
Monaco was second. So at least I was close this time. Followed by Spa, Monza and Japan. Third topic is top fan interests. Outside of F1, we have movies, we.
Have food, music, tech, and travel.
See, I don't know how I trust these fans now. They've wronged me twice.
This is tough food.
I mean, everyone likes food, but I'm not sure that's an interest that much. Number one trouble, maybe number one. I'm gonna go with music.
So I want to go with.
I would say food. Personally, I like eating food.
Italia is my favorite food for sure.
I don't think tech is gonna be the top.
Tech's last.
Knowing what I've just said, it probably is gonna be tech.
So it could be completely wrong.
I think music's gonna be number one.
I put it music.
See, I told you tech was gonna be near the top. Text Number two. Movies. Third. Food. Fourth.
Travel's last. People don't like traveling, apparently.
That's fair enough. I think music very easily accessible.
I just love music.
I like house music, sometimes drum and bass as well, which nobody ever expects. I've been told that multiple times that my music taste does not match my personality, which I'm fine with. The fourth topic is most attended Grand Prix of 2023.
Melbourne.
Silverstone, Mexico or Austin.
Austin number one. I think they set the record of like last year or something, and then.
Austin was very high. Melbourne also kind of has a loophole because they include Thursday because there's on track action on Thursday.
So Austin's like a bigger track so you can fit more fans in. So we'll see.
I'm gonna go with Melbourne and I'm back. My home race, but I'm not sure that's right.
I'm not very good at this.
Silverstone, Australia, Austin. I knew it was close between those three. I got my. My three right.
Number one, British Grand Prix. Obviously the British fans, just the best fans. That's why they never work. F1US viewership.
There's six options for the years, so 2018-2019-2020-2021, 2022 or 2023.
I'm probably going to go 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021st, 2023, 2022, 2023.
It's definitely not 2018 because that was before Netflix. 2020. I don't even know if there was crowds in America that year because of COVID It was towards the end of a very good championship battle, so maybe, but I don't think so. It's kind of hard for me to say because I've only been there in 2023. It was pretty nuts when I was there. Definitely a massive crowd and a lot of fans.
Oh.
I got one wrong. 2022. Wow.
It's good to see what fans think versus what I think, because what I think is obviously very different.
It's a very easy way of looking at data. Puts it in a very user friendly way.
What the fans want is actually what's most important. They're the ones watching. Found it.
